Throne & Liberty – How to Upgrade Heroic Weapons & Gear | Unlock Legendary / Heroic Gear

Despite having a rapidly declining player count, Throne & Liberty continues to receive updates that add new content to the game, including PVE focused stuff that gives people an opportunity to get some rare and powerful items to add to their arsenal. In this guide, we will try to go over what you need to do in order to upgrade such items so that you can grow even stronger, assuming you have such gear to begin with.

First, if you have any skills that you want to imprint into your heroic gear, consider going to a skill core and feeding some of your tier 2 items to it. This does not work with tier 1 stuff, so make sure that you actually have things to extract from before you even think about it.

In cities, you will also find the raid goods exchange merchant, which will sell various heroic tier items and resources that you will need, including chaos prisms which you will need if you want to craft your own heroic equipment growthstones.

These stores can also have precious blessing pouches, but it is generally recommended to avoid them as the potential rewards are often not worth the resources needed to buy them. It is also completely random, so there is a chance that you get nothing useful out of it for your character.

Finally, do not buy the heroic gear from the raid goods merchant. These can be acquired in various forms of content, and it is not worth the entropy shards to buy them.

If you have progressed this far into the game, then you already know how upgrading gear works anyway. It is just a matter of using higher tier resources with the exact same processes as the item rarities that come before it.

Creating a heroic equipment growthstone will require 1 chaos prism and 4 precious magic powders, and the latter should be pretty easy for you to acquire by now and you will likely be sitting on hundreds of these once you make it to this point in your account’s life.

Chaos prisms can also be used to make skill core imprint scrolls, which can grant heroic weapons new powers. This will require 10 chaos prisms each, among various other epic tier resources that you will likely have a massive stock of anyway.

Finally, if you are trying to unlock new traits for heroic gear, it should be noted that you will also need entropy shards alongside hundreds of trait unlock stones, the latter of which should not be a surprise to you by now.

To put it into perspective, it will take you many months to feasibly upgrade a single heroic item fully, unless you are a hardcore grinder who plays the game all day every single day. It is up to you to decide whether or not that is worth it, or you could just buy from the auction house, which will cost you a pretty penny.

And that is pretty much everything you need to know in order to upgrade your heroic items and how you can add traits to them. Long story short: it is going to be extremely expensive and time consuming, so if you are a casual player, you are going to have a hard time achieving this.
