There are many loot stashes spread all over in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, such as the Forgotten Loot Stash near the Dire Thicket in the Lesser Zone.

It seems that whoever owned this stash met their end before they could come back to retrieve it… that sure sucks for them, but it sure is a good thing for you! After all, you gotta grab everything you can to survive in and near the Zone. Plus, it would be a waste to leave the goodies to rot, anyway.

In this short guide, we’ll tell you how to find and reach the Forgotten Loot Stash in the Lesser Zone with ease.

Forgotten Loot Stash in The Lesser Zone | Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

The Forgotten Loot Stash is near the center of the Lesser Zone region in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. As we mentioned before, it’s near the Dire Thicket location. To find it, go to the spot marked on the map above.

You should spot a stone structure once you reach the location. It’s directly east of where the Forgotten Loot Stash marker is in-game. Peek inside the structure and you should notice a ladder going down. If you don’t see a ladder, you’re looking at the wrong structure, so double-check the map.

Once you go down the ladder, simply walk to your right going west to reach a room with a corpse. The Forgotten Loot Stash is on the corner opposite the entrance, so you just need to interact with it and grab it. You’ll make sure this loot isn’t forgotten any longer, right?

Do be warned, a swarm of rats might appear after you go into the hole, so watch out for that. It’s a good idea to use grenades to clear them out. Also, make sure to stay on the move to avoid damage as much as possible! Take them so you can grab the loot in peace.

If you luck out, however, the rats won’t spawn until after you grab the loot stash. In that case, you can just rush back up the ladder and leave without fighting them.

Additionally, it seems that leaving a single rat alive is better than killing the whole swarm if possible. It seems to prevent the swarm from respawning!

But well, there you have it, that’s how you can find and grab the Forgotten Loot Stash in the Lesser Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Picking up random loot isn’t the only thing you should do to get better gear, though. Make sure you also know how to upgrade the equipment you already have!
