Slime Rancher 2: Where to Find the Flutter Gordo Location Guide

When the same types of Slimes combine, they become one huge Slime called a Gordo. The Butterfly-inspired Gordo Slime is called the Flutter Gordo that is one of 5 new types of Slimes in Slime Rancher 2.

Usually, Gordo Spawns block different Areas for you to access and popping them is a priority unless you are one of us who mainly pop these oversized slimes for the fun of it. They also drop resources which is an added plus while unlocking new areas to explore.

Hunting Gordos require you to feed them different types of food depending on their diet. For the flutter Gordo that looks like a butterfly, you will need a lot of nectar since that’s its only diet.

In this Guide, We will show you where to find the elusive Flutter Gordo which is located South of the Starlight Strand in Slime Rancher 2.

Where to Find Flutter Gordo in Slime Rancher 2

After Popping the Cotton Gordo in Rainbow Fields you will be able to access the Starlight Strand Area. The destination you will want to head to will be on the South side of the Map close to the wall as indicated on the map image above.

Head South from the Starlight Strand Teleporter

Many are having a hard time following the path towards the Flutter Gordo. to keep things simple we marked the three key locations for you to go to on the map. The Red Square is your starting location which is the teleporter.

The yellow rectangle will be the first destination you will have to go to then the Blue Square is the second location to the red circle where the Flutter Gordo is located.

Red Square Marker: from teleporter to the big tree

Follow the path south from the teleporter. Continue until you reach the waterfalls. From here, head right up the cliff and jump across the platforms until you reach a fallen hollow log on your second platform.

From there, jump across the hollow log to take you higher up the cliff. You will be moving in the direction where you first came from but don’t worry. The big tree is located at the top.

Once you reach the big tree, you will need to travel southeast towards the third marker which looks like a stone bridge on the map.

Cross the log to take you to the mushroom forest

Head right and look for another hollow log and cross it. Continue on the path until it takes you to a forest with big mushrooms and hunter slimes.

Once you reach the forest, head left and look for a path that will lead you up towards the rock wall.

Search for the wall entrance

Head up the path towards the wall. when you reach the top, look for a circular entrance that will take you towards the southeast side of the island where the rock bridge is located.

Continue up the path to the left until you reach the bridge where you will be able to see the Flutter Gordo on top of the cliff close to the southern wall.

Cross the bridge and head straight towards the flutter Gordo. You will have to climb up the rock wall to reach him. Climb up the wall shown in the image above. The Flutter Gordo Slime will be waiting for you at the top.

Harvest Nectar from flowers on treetops

You will need to feed the Flutter Gordo Nectar to pop him. They can be found on top of trees by the flowers which are scattered around the area. Once you have enough, feed the nectar and watch him pop.
