That said, if you’re new to the game, finding these resources isn’t always the easiest. Thankfully, the game includes a helpful mechanism that assists you with gathering your resources. In this guide, we’ll discuss how to get any material in Skull and Bones.
How to Get Any Material Guide
Ok, so first things first, you’ll need resources to craft items in Skull and Bones. Finding them is the tricky part. That said, if you open the map area in your game, and look toward the top center of the page, there will be an open book icon you must click on, as seen in the image above.
Under the Knowledge Journal, there is a section called the “Codex“, click on the option, as seen in the image above.

Scroll down to the page until you reach the materials category. Here you’ll find all the information you need to gather different material.
You can then search for any materials that you require under the different classes of materials. Click on the material that you would like to gather, and the journal will tell you the requirements to gather the material, as seen in the image above.
Now that you have an idea of what you need to gather the material, click on the track icon, as seen in the image above.
Once you’ve tracked the material, go back to the map. The map will now have highlighted icons at different locations. These icons indicate where you can gather the materials you need.
