The release of Season 1 of Skull and Bones has added many new things to the game. Other than new items and unlockables, you can also find new enemy ships. The Fleet of Pestilence is a brand new fleet of enemies that you can encounter on the open seas.
Facing them can be very challenging, especially if you don’t know much about them. Luckily for you, we will be looking at how you can take on the Fleet of Pestilence and come out victorious.
How to Defeat the Fleet of Pestilence
Ships that are part of the Fleet of Pestilence can be identified mainly through their distinct look. Other than their look, you can also zoom in on the ship and tell if the ship is part of the fleet.
Fleet of Pestilence ships are going to feel much harder to take down when compared to other ships. When you first encounter these ships, you will notice that these ships do not have a weak spot.
The weak spot for these ships does exist, it is just not visible at first.
Finding the Weak Spot
To be able to see the weak spots, you will need to unlock the “La Potence Schematics I” Furniture Blueprint. This Blueprint can be unlocked through the new Smugglers Pass. Unlocking this Blueprint will let you craft the furniture you need.
To craft most items in Skull and Bones, you will need to have the items Blueprints. You can find Blueprints for all sorts of items in this game, like ships or weapons.
You can view the recipe for the Furniture through the Codex. The “La Potence Schematics I” recipe can be found inside the Offensive Furniture, under Damage. You can use the crafting recipe to track the missing ingredients and find them.
Once you have all the ingredients, you can craft the Furniture and equip it to your ship. Other than letting you see the weak spots, the furniture also increases the damage you do to the weak spots by 10%.
With how prevalent these ships are in the new season, having an upgrade like “La Potence Schematics I” is very important.
