Exploring in Palworld can be daunting in the early game, thanks to all the strong enemies around, but you can get somewhat OP rather quickly to help even things out.

You can use certain buildings to buff up yourself and your Pals, giving your team a much easier time when exploring and battling.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get OP as fast as possible in Palworld!

How to Get OP Quickly

Palworld: How to Get OP Quickly - Statue of Power

The best way to get OP fast in Palword is to try to get a Statue of Power and Pal Essence Condenser as soon as possible.

The Statue of Power is a pretty early unlock, as you can get it with regular Technology Points at Level 6. It will allow you to use Lifmunk Effigies and Pal Souls to power up yourself and your Pals!

Example of a Lifmunk Effigy

You can offer Lifmunk Effigies to increase your Capture Power, which applies to every single Pal Sphere type. It just overall makes it easier for you to catch Pals, which in turn makes it easy to get XP quickly.

Lifmunk Effigies are scattered all over the world and have a telltale green glow. They’re particularly easy to find at night.

Buffing Pals with souls at the Statue of Power

Pal Souls, on the other hand, can be used to directly boost the various stats of individual Pals. You can increase their Health, Attack, Defense, and even Work Speed by using up Pal Souls.

A random chest containing souls

Sadly, though, there doesn’t seem to be a reliable way to obtain Pal Souls. They sometimes just appear as items on the overworld and inside of chests, with no apparent rhyme or reason.

On the upside, you can always Reset any boosted Pal. This costs more Gold depending on how many Souls the Pal has taken, but it refunds all Souls. It’s basically a sort of respec feature!

Pal Essence Condenser technology

As for the Pal Essence Condenser, we have covered it in more detail in our breeding and infusing guide.

In short, though, the condenser allows you to sacrifice Pals of the same species to make them stronger. For example, sacrifice 4 Cattivas to make 1 other Cattiva stronger.

This can give you the upper hand early if you keep infusing the same common Pals from the early game!

So, if you want to use infusion to boost your Pals right away, you will need to meet two different criteria.

First, you will need to get up to Level 14. Reaching Level 14 will allow you to learn the Pal Essence Condenser Ancient Technology in the Technology Tree.

The second criterion is that you need 2 Ancient Technology Points to learn the technology.

Ancient Technology Points, unlike regular Technology Points, can only be obtained by defeating bosses.

Thankfully, you will need to defeat bosses anyway to get the rare Ancient Technology Parts materials for the condenser, anyway. Two birds with one stone, we say!

Penking and Chillet boss locations

The easiest two bosses you can defeat to get the Ancient Technology Points are Penking and Chillet. They are both to the northwest of the starting point in the game, marked on the map above.

They are tough fights, so make sure to bring your best gear and Pals when trying to take them on. It’s also a good idea to bring Mega Pal Spheres to try to capture them, too, but it’s not necessary.

Penking fight

Either way, defeating both of the bosses should allow you to craft the Pal Essence Condenser as early as possible in the game.

Now you just need to keep collecting Pals and fusing them together, strengthening them in the process. Having these powerful boosted Pals will make your life a lot easier!
