One of the major draws of Palworld is its inclusion of firearms. These guns make the game a lot more fun and a lot easier as well. As with everything else in life though, you’re gonna have to work for your guns.
To craft guns, you need High-Quality Pal Oil. This material isn’t exactly easy to get your hands on.
The game doesn’t do much to help you either. So, keep reading to learn precisely where your next High-Quality Pal Oil drops will be found!
How to Get High-Quality Pal Oil
You can obtain High-Quality Pal Oil drops from killing or catching Pals. There are a few Pals that drop this material. Some of them are the Digtoise, Woolipop, Dudum, and Mammorest.
Keep in mind that High-Quality Pal Oil is hard to get for a reason. The enemies that drop a lot of this can be hard to take down. You need to be a decently high level of Level 33 to make proper use of the High-Quality Pal Oil anyway.
Head to this area on the map. It is North West of the starting “Plateau of Beginnings” area. Getting to this area takes time as it is very far away. The Pals here are also of decently high level and hard to fight. Be careful and equip yourself well with gear and Pals.
The first of the two Pals we’re gonna be talking about is the Digtoise. This Pal is the single best Pal to farm High-Quality Pal Oil. They have a chance to drop up to six High-Quality Pal Oils per kill or catch, whichever you prefer.
Kill as many as you’d like, and sooner or later you’ll have more oil than you could ever need. If you still want more though, or are finding the Digtoise too hard to fight, there is one more option.
In the same area as the Digtoise, you will also see a bunch of Dumuds. These are slow Pals that travel in groups. They drop a small amount of Oil per each catch or kill. To make up for the lower amount of Oil drops, they’re larger in number and easier to kill.
To fight them efficiently, attack a couple to draw them out from the crowd. This should give you an easier time while fighting them. All in all, they should give you an easier time than Digtoises if you’re of a lower level.
As long as you keep looting some High-Quality Pal Oil from these pals, your gun crafting void should be filled pretty quickly. So, stock up and get your hands on some shiny firearms!
