Palworld is one of the major titles of 2024. With its release a few days ago, it soon made headlines for reasons both good and bad.

This chaotic action RPG, often referred to as “Pokemon With Guns” did surprisingly well precisely because of its ridiculous gameplay, chaotic world, and most importantly, absolutely insane Pals.

The reason for negative criticism coming from some major companies and news networks stems from the fact that Palworld bears an uncanny resemblance to Pokemon. From catching Pals to the artwork overall, the game does bear some kind of Pokemon vibe to it.

However, when we delved deeper into the game’s mechanics, we soon realized, this isn’t Pokemon. This is much more. One such feature is the ability to emote with your character and add a spark of personalization to your game.

Just imagine, being able to make your character sit down and relax after a hard day’s work, overlooking the fruits of your labor. It doesn’t get much better than this.

This is why, today, we’ll be showing you how to emote in Palworld with a simple step-by-step guide. Let’s get started!

Emote in Palworld

While fairly simple, we felt obliged to bring you this guide and help our fellow gamers who struggle with finding this option. That said, make sure you are not in combat when trying to emote.

To start emoting, press 4 on your keyboard. This will open up different possibilities. These are Pet, Feed, Command Don’t Attack, Command Focus on Same Enemy, Command Attack Aggressively, and finally, Emote.

Go ahead and select the Emote option. From here you will be able to choose which emote you want your character to perform. You can Beckon, Dance, Wave, Sit in Chair, Sit on Ground, Surprised, and  Hand Over.
