Implants are one of the biggest systems in Palworld 1.0. They basically allow you to modify the passive skills of your Pals instead of just relying on luck alone via breeding.
However, you won’t be able to obtain them as soon as you unlock the Pal Surgery Table. Instead, you first have to get implant recipes before you can even use them. That said, here’s where to get implants and how to use them.
Where to Get Implants and How to Use Them in Palworld 1.0
Once you’ve unlocked and built the Pal Surgery Table, you’ll be able to see a selection of implants available. However, you’ll only see a limited selection as you’ll have to unlock the rest of them first.
You can buy four of them from the Vigilante Bounty Officer, who you can find in places like the Small Settlement or the Fisherman’s Point.

There, you can purchase a total of 7 implants, including the Artisan, Nimble, and Diet Lover.
Another place where you can buy implants is the Arena Merchant who you can find in front of the arena entrance. You can find the arena in this part of the map:

The merchant also sells a total of 7 implants, including implants like Healing Coach, Serenity, and Runner. However, you will need Battle Tickets to buy them, which you can earn by completing Arena Challenges.
You can choose different challenge difficulties, and higher-level challenges reward more Battle Tickets. Since Arena Challenges can be repeated as many times as you want, farming tickets becomes fairly quick once your character and combat Pals are strong enough.
If you’re planning to unlock every implant, just repeatedly clear the highest difficulty you can comfortably complete.
How to Use Implants
That said, how exactly do you use implants?
To start using them, you first have to unlock the Pal Surgery Table. After building the structure, interact with it and choose the Pal you want to have implants on.

You will then see a list of implants available. Choose which one you want, and in the next window, choose which passive skill in your Pal you want to change.
Doing so will cost you 50,000 Gold.
And that’s how you use the implants in Palworld 1.0 and where you can get them. The system is quite flexible and powerful, so make sure you engage with it if you’re either creating the perfect Pals, efficient workers, or utility Pals.
