You might find yourself locked inside of an ice prison at one point in Hero’s Adventure: Road To Passion, but you can pass the time inside by playing rock, paper, scissors.
Yup, you’re not locked alone in the prison cell, and your roommate wants to play rock, paper, scissors. To sweeten the pot, he’ll reward you with a unique martial art if you beat him 10 times in a row!
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to play and win at rock, paper, and scissors while inside the ice prison.
How To Win Rock, Paper, Scissors In The Ice Prison
You’ll get to play Rock, Papers, and Scissors with Lao Motou at the ice prison. You have to spend 5 days in prison, and this event is also only available as part of the Shifa and Confucius temple questlines.
Winning 10 games of rocks, paper, and scissors will also give you the “Rock Paper Scissors” epic fist martial art manual.
This martial art can deal high damage and has a random chance of 33% to turn your enemy’s armor ineffective for one turn.
However, it also has a 33% chance to turn your protagonist’s armor ineffective instead!
Anyway, as for how to win the game of rock, papers, scissors game… there are two methods that seem to work.
The first is to just go down the list of options in order. Select rock, then paper, then scissors, in that exact order. You should always win, as Lao Motou will seemingly follow the same pattern every time.
Alternatively, you can opt to pick what Lao Motou picked on his previous hand. For example, if Lao Motou picks paper and beats your rock, you should pick paper on your next hand.
If neither method seems to be working, you just need to stop the game and restart the match of rock, paper, scissors. It should reset Lao’s AI, and allow you to win by following either of the patterns mentioned above.
Either way, these methods are guaranteed to get you the win eventually so that you can unlock the unique “Rock Paper Scissors” martial art!
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
