How To Unlock All Martial Arts

Internal Arts Part 1

• Absolute Poison Remains – Bond with Jiang Ziyan and have Toxicology at 65 or higher. Complete her quest and choose to keep the notes at the end.
• Ancient Sage Poison Technique – Obtain as a reward from the “Eliminate the Melody House” quest when you side with the Jiuli Tribe.
• Archdemon’s Soul Eating Skill – Give Vairocana Solar Sutra to Wan Yan Liang instead of learning it. Requires -100 Benevolence and 60+ Relation with Wan Yan Liang.
• Armor Breaker Move – Given to you by either Luo Quanxue or Hua Qingqing at the very start of the game, depending on which one you help.
• Baidi Sword Spirit – Complete the Breeze Remains DLC storyline.
• Beast Howling Move – Go back to Beast Manor after you’ve invited Jian Nan.
• Beast King Technique – Obtain it when visiting Bailang Mountain as part of the Beast Manor questline. Can also be chosen during character creation if you have the “Exterminate Beast Manor” achievement.
• Beast Taming Technique – Start the Bailing Mountain Quest in the Southwest Region.
• Bibo Mental Sutra – Obtained after White Mou Marsh during the Breeze Remains story.
• Blade Mastery – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Breathing Technique – Learned from the “Old Man with White Hair” at the Nameless Village when you complete the “Doctor’s Wish” quest.
• Celestial Lady Scattering Flowers – Clean out all tables at the Lin’an Casino and then defeat the owner in a dice game.
• Celestial Star Manual – Held by Shen Wuqi at the Night Demon Market in Zhongzhou. Trade with him for it or kill him.
• Chilling Aura Technique – Join the Nine Factions Sect (Her Vanishing Silhouette DLC) and defeat the Training Elite at 100% power.
• Cloud Walker Step – First complete the Nest of Swallow questline, then visit the Nest of Swallow in Zhongzhou. Trade Bu Juechen for it or kill him.
• Cold Yin Energy – Meet Lao Motou as part of the Taoist Sect, Shifa Temple, Confucius Temple, or Yan Gexing questlines. Befriend him and he will mention that the “cold air” is good for you. Interact with the bed near him and choose to “Absorb the cold air” 10 times.
• Confucius Thirteen Sutras – Obtained by defeating Lao Motou as part of the Confucius Temple questline.
• Dancing Garment Sutra – You get it as a reward by completing the “Visit Old Friends” quest when you side with the Melody House.
• Deviationg from Form Technique – Stay loyal to the Nine Factions Sect and rescue Chu Kuangsheng as part of their storyline.
• Dragon King Aura – Part of the Ye Family Battalion questline. Betray Ye Pengju during his trial.
• Dragon Seeker Manual – Kill Ming Bufan at the Tomb Raider Sect in Zhongzhou.
• Dragon Tiger Manual – Found in a Level 3 chest at the Lin’an Dojo, requires Mastery 3 to open.

Internal Arts Part 2

• Dream Butterfly Sutra – Recruit or kill Ling Mengdie to get this one. She can only be met if you’re a member of the Confucius Temple sect.
• Dreaming Sutra – Recruit Zhang Lata of the Taoist Sect in Xiangfan.
• Elegant Romanticist – Found in a container in the Nameless Village Head’s house.
• Emperor Yin Yang Sutra – Obtained by defeating Lao Motou as part of the Taoist Sect questline.
• Endless Maha – Finish the “The enemy is at the gates” quest as a member of the Yan Yun Iron Army.
• Eternal Regret – Visit the Melody House as part of Ji Fuling’s quest in Her Vanishing Silhouette DLC story. Win the solo fight to earn the manual.
• Fetal Breathing Guide – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Fist Mastery – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Five Poisons Secret Move – Given to you by Miao Caidie when you invite her to your party or kill her. She can be found in Lin’an City or the Jiuliu Tribe.
• Flame Toad Technique – Side with Cold Skin Gang or Divine Flame Sect to visit the Flame Toad Cave. Then, inspect the mural there with 60+ Toxicology.
• Flying Blade Secret Manual – Visit the court in front of the Chuxiang Dojo once you have Fame at level 3 or higher. Enter the tournament and win it to get the Martial Art.
• Flying Blade Skill – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Forging Golden Body – Given to you by Hua Yan if you are part of the Shifa Temple and have 70 Buddhist Knowledge or more.
• Four Saints Origin – Recruit or kill Qu Wangyou at the Plant Sect in Wuyue.
• Glorious Era – Hand the Cicada to Cai Yuanchang during the “Mang Mountain Tomb” quest while you’re a member of the Confucius Temple sect.
• God Step – Given to you by Gu Qingcheng when you recruit or kill her. You can recruit her after solving the Maiden House puzzle and siding with the Melody House.
• Golden Bell Technique – Recruit Shi Chen at Lin’an in Wuyue. Alternatively, Hua Yan will give it to you if you’re part of the Shifa Temple sect.
• Golden Manual – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Great Ocean Manual – Purchase from Jiujiang Fortress sect for 2500 Points.

Internal Arts Part 3

• Heaven Sutra – Find all suspicious people quickly as part of the Langya Sword Pavilion’s “Sword Testing Tournament” test. One is in the frontal courtyard, one is in the mines, and the other is in the back courtyard.
• Hidden Cloud Skill – You get this when you kill Zhu Ge Shenji at the Jiujiang Water Camp in Wuyue.
• Hidden Mist Skill – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Hidden Sword Secret Manual – Recruit or kill Du Gu Jianyi at the Langya Sword Pavilion in Wuyue.
• Historical Record – Interact with Ye Pengju’s Desk at the Ye Family Battalion Camp in Xiangfan.
• Holy Brahma Technique – Obtained by defeating Lao Motou as part of the Shifa Temple questline.
• Holy Fire Divine Skill – Side with the Divine Fire Sect and progress the storyline. Accept to become the Vice Leader after the Ox Treasury event.
• Holy Flame Spreading – Side with the Divine Fire Sect, then help Ren Zhongheng on your visit to Chang’an Inn.
• Ice Heart Technique – Cure Ji Fuling as part of the Her Vanishing Silhouette DLC story.
• Ice Spirit Move – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Infinity Manual – Get imprisoned by the Taoist Sect and examine the scribbles on the prison wall when you have 1 Intelligence. Requires 1 to 5 Max MP to learn, as well.
• Infinity Origin Move – Defeat the Taoist Sect’s Star Array formation in their Star Chaser Pavilion.
• Levitational Steel – Complete the “Yan Yun Secret Letter” quest for the Yan Yun Army.
• Long Weapon Mastery – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Longevity Technique – Get a pillow from the White Cloud Temple in Chuxiang. You can steal it, end a fight on its tile, or just grab it if you max out Relations with the White Cloud Temple Master. Put the pillow in front of the statue in Chuxiang City and kowtow 10 times to get the Martial Art.
• Mind Taker Skill – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Musical Mastery – Inside the bottom right chest in the hidden section of the Nameless Village Head’s house. Befriend him and he’ll tell you about it.
• Mystic Circle Manual – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Nether Taichi – Given to you by Zhang Lata if you defeat Chang Chunzi’s sword formation at full power while being a member of the Taoist Sect. Note that he won’t give it to you if he’s in your party, though!

Internal Arts Part 4

• Nether Yin Manual – Return to the Imperial Palace after the Imperial Noble storyline and recruit the temporary character you meet there.
• Nine Nether Frost Qi – Learn from the air contidioner at the Half Amateur Studio. You can enter it through the 12 Zodiac rings quest. Find them and place them at the Nameless Cave.
• Nine Origins – Either kill the “Fierce-looking Beggar” outside Daliang City’s inn or buy from Yan Gexing for 1500 Contribution Points.
• Nine Provinces Manual – Join Yan Gexing’s sect and complete the quests related to healing him.
• Nine Stars Chain – Finish the Eternal Tower at the Base as part of the Her Vanishing Silhouette DLC. Requires you to join the Nine Factions Sect and have 6 fighters.
• Omnipotent Demon Sealing Move – You’ll need to spend 5 days in prison at one point in the Confucius Temple sect questline. On day 4, Lao Motou will try to break free. Let him break his chains, then defeat him. Also obtained by helping Chu Kuangsheng calm his Qi as part of Yan Gexing’s sect questline, during the “Rescue at the Cloud Forest Temple” quest.
• Omniscient Sword Manual – You can start with this if you have the “Destroy Langya Sword Pavillion” achievement. Alternatively, buy it from the Langya Sword Pavilion sect shop for 3000 Contribution Points.
• Origin Technique – Can be picked up in the Abandoned Shrine at Lin’an. Alternatively, you can buy it from the Lin’an Dojo Dojokeeper.
• Ox Power – Inside a Level 1 chest in the Nameless Village’s blacksmith forge.
• Passionate Manual – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Poison Technique – Kill the Malicious Old Woman as part of the “Battle of Lin’an” quest for the Yan Yun Army.
• Prayer Manual – Visit Linglang temple and examine the go game outside. It’s a board game akin to checkers. This will trigger a battle. After the fight, examine the go game again to get the manual.
• Prismatic River – You can get it after the execution event in the Ye Family Battalion questline, regardless of the outcome. Examine the left wall in Ye Pengju’s cell to trigger an event and get the Martial Art.
• Pure Yang Skill – Complete the Crime Investigation Bureau (CIB) questline, then recruit or kill Luo Tianxiong at the CIB in Zhongzhou.
• Raksha Poison Sutra – Trade for it with Miao Caidie.
• Reckless Sky Technique – Join the Yan Yun Arm and recruit Xiao Yuanba.

Internal Arts Part 5

• Revitalization Technique – Given to you by either Luo Quanxue or Hua Qingqing at the very start of the game, depending on which one you help.
• Short Weapon Mastery – Recruit Hua Qingqing at the Nest of Swallow in Zhongzhou.
• Sigh Method – Obtained as a reward from Yan Gexing’s sect once you reach level 6 in “Autumn Wild Palm Technique”.
• Sun Burning Sky Technique – Dig in the Wuxian Wonderland, where you obtain the Rooster Ring.
• Sword Mastery – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Toxication Skill – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Tsunami Manula – Leave and return to Jiujiang Fortress after the Duke Kang Banquet. Then, go to the main camp on either Ding Fenbo’s or Zhuge’s side.
• Tyrant Blade Technique – Side with the Cold Skin Gang and complete their storyline. Then, visit the Flame Cave at night and spar with the Cold Skin Gang Leader. Requires 80 Blade or higher.
• Vairocana Solar Sutra – Unlocked once you get the three parts of the Vairocana Sutra and read them at the Scripture Tower in Shifa Temple. Also requires the Sanskrit Dictionary found on the 1st floor of the Scripture Tower.
  • The first half of the sutra is held by Hua Yan, you can get it by pickpocketing him or killing him.
  • You can buy the Second Half from the Shifa Temple sect shop for 1000 Contribution. Lastly, you’ll need to get the Vairocana Sola Sutra (Sanskrit) item from the 3rd floor of the Scripture Tower.
  • Get all the items and read them at the Shifa Temple to get the Martial Art.
• Vedas Scripture – Side with the Cold Skin Gang or Divine Flame Sect, then finish their storyline and defeat Feng Xiaoian.
• Wave Rider Technique – Given to you by either Luo Quanxue or Hua Qingqing at the very start of the game, depending on which one you help.
• Wei Liaozi – Join the Ye Family Battalion, then accept Ye Pengju’s request to reinforce the South East region. Stop Duke Chai’s scheme and report to Ye Pengju.
• Wind Walker Manual – Randomly obtained when appraising Nameless manuals.
• Wonderful Sound Formula – Get it as a reward once you complete the “Rescue Yu Weier” quest for the Melody House.
• Ye Family Technique – Obtained by joining the Ye Family Battalion in Zhongzhou. It first appears as a “!” event on your map.
• Yue Fei Secret Manual – Recruit or kill Ye Yun, who can be found at the Ye Family Battalion in Xiangfan.

• Dragon Slaying Fist – Request from Lai Toudian at the Shifa Temple. You’ll need 40 Relations and 1 Arhat Tofu. You can learn to make Arhat Tofu from Shi E at the Shifa Temple if you have a good relationship with him.
• Ether Finger – Reach 60 Relations with Can Qi while you’re a member of the Confucius Temple sect. Then, defeat him in 5 chess battles in a row and he will ask you to solve a chess puzzle in Linlang Temple. Solve the puzzle to get the Martial Art.
• Far Sealing Hand – Spar with Square Xiao Bai at Hotel Delighted in Lin’an City to get the “Fang’s Family Secret” book. Read the book once you have Appraise Book at Level 4 and 60 Fist Knowledge.
• Five Thunderbolts – Get it as a reward from the Bruised Boxer in Daliang City after you help it.
• Four Generals Palm – Assist the Cold Skin Gang in the North West region, then do Zi Tian’s quest.
• Frostfall Fist Technique – Kill or subdue the Red Boar in the Lost Forest as part of Yan Gexing’s questline.
• Frozen Heart Palm – Fight Shi Wenxiu during the storm at Chang’an Inn in the North West region, then choose to heal him.
• Heaven and Earth Thunder Palm – Obtained naturally as part of the Nine Factions Sect storyline in Her Vanishing Silhouette DLC.
• Heaven Engulfed Hand – Don’t help Duke Chai in the South East region, then complete his trial and successfully convict him.
• Heaven Shaking Finger – Complete the Acting Troupe quest in the South East region while the Nine Factions Sect exists. Also obtained through the Nine Factions Sect storyline.
• Jewel Breaker Palm – Kill the Rich Merchant at the Glittering Artifact House in Daliang City.
• Mind Clearing Maiden Palm – Collect the 5 Goddess Orbs and open the chest at the South West Deserted Courtyard.
• Mountain Clear Palm – Visit the Forest Tower at nighttime when you’re a Shifa Temple member and your relationship with the temple is at 60 or higher. Choose not to fight Shi E after eavesdropping on him.
• Mountain Pushing Palm – Join the Nine Factions Sect and talk to E Qigai.
• Nine Heavens Form – Obtained at Chuxiang City as part of the Nine Factions Sect story.
• Omnipotent Hand – Recruit Jiang Nanguai at the Dirty Street in Chuxiang City.
• People’s Palm – Complete the “Rescue at the Cloud Forest Temple” quest as part of the Yan Gexing sect questline.
• Powerful Diamond Palm – Spar with Shi Yu when you’re a member of the Shifa Temple and beat him when he’s at full strength. Also, your Fist Knowledge should be higher than your Long Knowledge.

Fist Martial Arts Part 3

• Prajna Palm – Search the bookcase on the first floor of the Scripture Tower in the Shifa Temple. You can retry getting it multiple times, but it’s easier if your Fist Knowledge is higher than your Long Knowledge.
• Quick Palm – Buy it from the Lin’an Dojo Dojokeeper.
• Rock Paper Scissor – Meet Lao Motou as part of the Taoist Sect, Shifa Temple, Confucius Temple, or Yan Gexing questlines. Get 60 Relations with him and then beat him in Rock-Paper-Scissors 10 times in a row.
• Scoundrel Fist – You can choose this as a starting skill. Alternatively, get it by recruiting Bao Dating at the Nameless Village.
• Sky Destroyer Palm – You can request it from Cai Yuanchang as a member of the Confucius Temple sect. Additionally, you should have 40 Relations with him and an Honored standing at the Confucius Temple.
• Snake Bound Palm – Kill Liu Fuming at the Tower of Prosperity in Daliang. You can do this by siding with Wan Yan Liang and winning, or siding with Vagabond Jia and losing the fight.
• Solar Fist – Side with the Divine Fire Sect at Chang’an Inn in the North West region, then progress their storyline. Refuse to become the Vice Leader, don’t nominate Gu Qing Yang. Then win the ensuing fight.
• Soul Destroyer Claw – As part of the Jijujiang Water Fortress Sect, you’ll have to deliver a Silver Ticket to an envoy. Pay him instead of fighting him for this manual.
• Sparkling Palm – Recruit Lady Fuqing. You’ll need to win the Daliang Marriage Tournament, meet Kang Wang in Lin’an, win all the fights at the Enlighten Tower, and marry Lady Fuqing.
• Taichi Fist – Buy it from the Taoist Sect shop for 3000 Contribution Points.
• Vairocana Godly Palm – Defeat the High Monk’s Regret at the Shifa Temple when you have Fist Knowledge at 50 or higher and Buddhist Knowledge at 400 or higher.
• Wine God Fist – Request it from Zhang Lata at the Taoist Sect. Requires 40 Relations with him, Respected standing with the Taoist Sect, and 1 Viburnum Wine.
• Zen Finger – Recruit Square Xiao Bai in Lin’an City.

Sword Martial Arts Part 1

• Blue Weed Sword – Can be bought from the Chuxiang Dojo Dojokeeper. Alternatively, trade for it with the Down-and-out Wanderer in the Nameless Village.
• Dragon Roaming Sword – Starting skill for the Sword. Can also be bought from the Lin’an Dojo Dojokeeper.
• Dragon Sword – Fully explore the easter egg you unlock after obtaining all 12 Zodiac rings.
• Dugu Nine Sword – Request it from Du Gu Jianyi at the Langya Sword Pavilion. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with, 9 Intelligence, and be a member of the Langya Sword Pavilion.
• Flirting Star Sword – Request it from Luo Tianxiong of the Crime Investigation Bureau. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with them, Honored reputation at the CIB, and to be a member of the CIB.
• Forgotten Sword – Recruit Shen Wuqi at the Night Demon Square in Zhongzhou.
• Gentle Cloud Sword – Recruit or kill Luo Quanxue of the Crime Investigation Bureau. You’ll need to be a member of the CIB to recruit them.
• Heaven Sword – Can be picked during character creation if you have the “Master of Sword” achievement. To get the achievement, reach 200 Sword Knowledge in a single playthrough.
• Illusion Sword – Talk to Ling Mengdie in the Confucius Temple when you have Qu Wangyou in your party and are holding a Dragon Lice. The Dragon Lice is obtained at the Longevity Tomb through the Confucius Temple sect questline.
• Infinity Sword – Request it from Zhong Yangzi at the Taoist Sect. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with him, Honored reputation with the Taoist Sect, and to be a member of the Taoist Sect.
• Maiden Sword – Collect the 5 Goddess Orbs and open the chest at the South West Deserted Courtyard.
• Moon Star Sword – Visit the burned house after saving the Mei Pass Post in the South East region. Meet Liao Yuelong there and complete his quest to recruit him and get the manual.
• Mortal Sword – Side with the Divine Flame Sect in the North West region and duel Gu Qing Yang.
• Nameless Sword – Request from Jian Chi at the Langya Sword Pavilion. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with him, Honored reputation with the Langya Sword Pavilion, and to be a member of the Langya Sword Pavilion.

Sword Martial Arts Part 2

• Nine Diagrams Sword – Automatically given to you once you join the Langya Sword Pavilion.
• Pure Maiden Sword – Request from Qu Wangyou at the Plant Sect. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with her and 80 Benevolence.
• Seven Stars Sword – Given to you when you join the Taoist Sect and pick it as your welcome gift.
• Sky Breaker Sword – Buy from Yan Gexing’s Sect Shop. Becomes available after the Confucius Temple event.
• Sumeru Sword – Buy it from the Daliang Dojo Dojokeeper.
• Sunset Sword – Ask Tang Wan Er for it. Requires you to have 60+ Relation with her and the Beast Manor sect.
• Survival Sword – Request it from Lu Wenhuan in Chuxiang City. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with him, 100 Propriety, and to be a member of the General’s Mansion.
• Taichi Sword – Buy it from the Taoist Sect for 3000 Contribution Points.
• Taiyi Sword – Request it from Chang Chunzi at the Taoist Sect. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with him and Admired reputation with the Taoist Sect.
• Taixu Eighteen Swords – Recruit Lu Jian Nan. Either tame his lost Snow Leopard or bring him to the Beast Manor as part of that sect’s storyline.
• Teal Water Swordplay – Obtained after White Mou Marsh during the Breeze Remains story.
• Three Friends of Winter – Rewarded to you by the White Cloud Temple Master. Consume the cold medicinal pill given to you by the Serious Taoist and travel to the White Cloud Temple during the daytime. An event will trigger; choose to defend the White Cloud Temple to get the Martial Art.
• Windless Sword – Request it from Ou Ye Heng at the Langya Sword Pavilion. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with, 9 Strength, and be a member of the Langya Sword Pavilion.

Blade & Knife Martial Arts Part 1

• Archdemon Blade – Meet Lao Motou as part of the Taoist Sect, Shifa Temple, Confucius Temple, or Yan Gexing questlines. Max out your relationship with him and chat until he gives it to you.
• Bandit Killer Blade – Found in a Level 1 Chest behind the Government Office Building in Lin’an City.
• Brutal Blade – Found in a Level 1 Chest in the northeastern part of the Palace Camp in Daliang.
• Cruel Wolf Blade – Found in a Level 4 Chest in a Bandit Camp close to the Nameless Village.
• Demonic Circle Blade – Fight Fu Bu Bingwei in Lin’an 4 times. He can be fought at the town entrance or Ruined Shrine, in the dojo, in the temple, and in the Enlighten Tower. After those fights, he will invite you to a last duel. Win the final duel to get this Martial Art.
• Devouring Blade – Report to the leader after Duke Kang’s Banquet as part of the Jiujiang Water Fortress story.
• Earth Blade – Starting skill for Blade and Knife. Alternatively, trade for it with the Down-and-out Wanderer in the Nameless Village or buy it from the Lin’an Dojo Dojokeeper.
• Empty Blade – Request it from Qiu Zhimo of the Crime Investigation Bureau. You only need to have 40 Relations with him.
• Flaming Blade – Side with the Cold Skin Gang in the North West region and surrender the treasure to them at the Ox Treasury. Talk to the gang at their base afterwards to get the manual.
• Furious Blade – Join the Jijujiang Water Fortress. Then, have 60+ Relation with Ding Fengbo and 40+ with the Jiujiang Water Fortress. Lastly, request it from Ding Fengbo.
• Heaven Cutting Blade Technique – Side with the Cold Skin Gang in the North West region. You’ll get this after the Ox Treasury event.
• Lumbering Blade – Automatically given to you when you join the Blue Wind Camp.
• Moon Phase Three Forms – Find Yan Luo in Bailing Mountaing and complete Feng Xuanji’s quest.
• Mountain Clear Blade – Request from Kong Yidao of the Blue Wind Camp. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with him, a Honored reputation with the Blue Wind Camp, and to be a member of the camp.
• Nine Rivers Blade – Join the Jiujiang Water Fortress.
• Octagonal Wind Blade – Automatically given to you when you join the Crime Investigation Bureau.
• Ox Killer Blade – Recruit Pao Chunqiu in Daliang City.

Blade & Knife Martial Arts Part 2

• Peerless Blade – Buy from Yan Gexing’s Sect Shop. Becomes available after the Confucius Temple event.
• Roaming Blade – Request it from Wan Yan Wuzhu of the Yan Yun Army. You’ll need 40 Relations with him and Admired reputation with the Yan Yun Army.
• Ruinous Star Blade – Found in a Level 4 Chest near the Blacksmith in Lin’an City.
• Savage Primal Blade – Finish the “Nemesis” quest as a member of the Yang Yun Iron Army.
• Seven Spins Blade – Request it from the Underground Arena Emcee in Lin’an City.
• Shura Blade – Kill Kong Yidao of the Blue Wind Camp.
• Thunder Blade – Kill Han Hongyu of the Tiger Escort in Chuxiang.
• Tiger Taming Blade – Reward from the Tiger Escort sect.

• Xiyu Blade – Kill Man Tuoluo in Epiphyllum Valley.

Staff & Stick Martial Arts Part 1

• Beggar Staff – Leave the Nameless Village when you have 500 Coins. Hong Xiaoqi will appear and steal from you! Chase him and beat him, but let him keep the money to get the Martial Art.
• Brutal Staff – Buy it from the Daliang Dojo Dojokeeper.
• Cloud Forest Staff – Enter the Cloud Forest Temple in Lin’an after you defeated Fu Bu Bingwei at the city’s entrance. He will challenge you to another fight once you reach the temple, beat him again to get this Martial Art.
• Dharma Staff – Defeat the High Monk’s Regret as a member of the Shifa Temple. You’ll need to have at least 50 Long Knowledge and 400 Buddhist Knowledge.
• Dragon Staff – Starting skill for Staff and Stick. Alternatively, buy it from the Lin’an Dojo Dojokeeper.
• Enlighten Staff – Given to you by Shi Yu at the Shifa Temple. Talk with him when you’re a member of the Shifa Temple sect and have Veda Staff at Level 8.
• Evil Destroyer Diamond Staff– Search the bookcase on the first floor of the Scripture Tower in the Shifa Temple. You can retry getting it multiple times, but it’s easier if your Long Knowledge is higher than your Fist Knowledge.
• Gentle-Breeze Cloud-Rending Staff – Finish the Beast Manor story in the South West region and assist Liu Fuming. Then, complete the White Mou Marsh events during the Breeze Remains story.
• Insanity Staff – Recruit E Qigai during the Nine Factions Sect storyline in Her Vanishing Silhouette DLC.

Staff & Stick Martial Arts Part 2

• Kinnara Staff – Spar with Shi Yu when you’re a member of the Shifa Temple and beat him when he’s at full strength. Also, your Long Knowledge should be higher than your Fist Knowledge.
• Nether Killing Staff – Side with Vagabond Jia at the Tower of Prosperity in Daliang while you’re not a member of the Yan Yun Iron Army.
• Nothingness Staff – Enter the South East region after the Beast Manor questline and the Tower of Prosperity quest. Then, side with Duke Chai.
• Origin Staff – Share your spoils with “Ming Bufan” during the “Mang Mountain Tomb” quest while you’re a member of the Confucius Temple sect.
• Polaris Staff – Buy from Yan Gexing’s sect shop for 3000 Contribution Points.
• Polaris Wyvern Staff – Obtained as part of the Beast Manor story in the South West region.
• Prestige Destroyer Staff – Found in a Level 1 Chest inside Chuxiang City’s prison.
• Six Forms Staff – Trade with the Down-and-out Wander in the Nameless Village or buy it from the Chuxiang Dojo Dojokeeper.
• Sky Dragon Wind Staff – Finish the story in the North East region and talk to Wu Yue at the Dragon Vein Treasury.
• Thunder Mountain Hammer – Request from Ye Yun of the Ye Family Battalion. You’ll need 40 Relations with him and 9 Strength.
• Veda Staff – Speak to Shi Yu at the Shifa Temple when you’re a member of the Shifa Temple sect. Pick the Veda Staff as your reward.

Spear Martial Arts

• Beast Taming Trident – Complete the “Hunter’s Request” quest from Liu Shiba in the Nameless Village.
• Death Bringer Spear – Side with the Jiuli Tribe at the Abandoned Courtyard in the Southwest Region.
• Emperor Spear – Request it from Xiao Yuanba of the Yan Yun Army. You’ll need 40 Relations with him and 9 Strength.
• Flower Spear  – Trade with the Down-and-out Wander in the Nameless Village or buy it from the Lin’an Dojo Dojokeeper.
• Formation Breaker Spear – Automatically earned when you join the Ye Family Battalion.
• Jiuli Trident – Side with the Jiuli Tribe and complete the “Virgin Sacrifice” quest.
• Middle Stance Spear – Buy it from the Chuxiang Dojo Dojokeeper.
• Pear Blossom Spear – Recruit or kill Yang Yao Er in Chuxiang City to get the “Yang Family Memorial Tablet”. Then, visit the Ruined Shrine near the Nameless Village and destroy the shrine to reveal a hidden chamber. Enter the secret area and use the memorial tablet.
• Power Star Spear – Request from Ye Pengju of the Ye Family Battalion. You’ll need 40 Relations with him and 40 Relations with the Ye Family Battalion.
• Scouting Snake Spear – Buy from Yan Gexing’s Sect Shop. Becomes available after the Confucius Temple event.
• Six Forms Spear – Buy it from the Daliang Dojo Dojokeeper.
• Slipstream Spear – Join the Ye Family Battalion and complete the “Northern Expedition in Central Plains” quest as part of their questline.
• Thunder Spear – Starting skill for Spear. Alternatively, kill or recruit Ye Yinping of the Ye Family Battalion.
• Tiger Howl Spear – Recruit Mu Zaixing at the Zhongzhou Ferry.
• Wyvern Spear – Can be chosen at character creation if you have the “Master of Long Weapon” achievement. You’ll get the achievement if you obtain 200 Long Knowledge during a single playthrough.
• Ye Family Spear – Complete the “Pacify Xiangfan” quest as part of the Ye Family Battalion questline.

Zither Martial Arts

• A Dream of Graceful Beauty Score – Complete the “Maiden House Puzzle” quest and meet Gu Qingcheng at the Melody House when you have 1000 Max MP or more. Listen to her song to get the Martial Art.
• Dancing Butterfly Over Skyline Score – Request from Gu Qingcheng at the Melody House when you have 40 Relations with her. Also requires 1 AAA (Legendary Powder), which you can get from the Cosmetic stall in Chuxiang City.
• Floating Blue – Starting skill for the Zither.
• Guangling Melody Score – Complete the “Treasure Hunt Puzzle” quest to get the Ancient Bamboo Script. Appraise the script if you have 100 Musical Knowledge, or give it to Ming Bufan and trade him for the Martial Art.
• Moon over West River Score – Inside the leftmost right chest in the hidden section of the Nameless Village Head’s house. Befriend him and he’ll tell you about it.
• Mountain and River Score – Can be chosen during character creation if you have the “Master of Music” achievement. You’ll get the achievement by getting 200 Musical Knowledge in a single playthrough.
• Proud Wanderer Score – Save Yu Weier before the Jiuli Tribe has been exterminated. You’ll then get tasked with exterminating the Jiuli Tribe from Fu Yaoqin. You’ll get the manual if you have 60+ Music Knowledge. Alternatively, unlocked for character creation if you get the “Exterminate Melody Sect” achievement.
• Out of Water Hibiscus Score – Buy from the Tower of Prosperity Steward in Daliang.
• Proud Wanderer Score – Side with the Melody House while you have 60 Musical Knowledge. Then save Yu Weier without killing Miao Muli and exterminate the Jiuli Tribe when Fu Yaoqin asks you. With that done, chat with Fu Yaoqin until she gives you the Martial Art.
• River Water and Cloud Score – Recruit Ya Qin at the Confucius Temple.
• Triassis Yangguan Score – Buy from the Qunfang Hall Dojokeeper in Lin’an.

Lute Martial Arts

• Armor Breaker Emperor – Starting skill for the Lute.
• Autumn Palace Moon Score – Help the Melody House at the Abandoned Courtyard in the Southwest Region.
• Full Directional Ambush Score – Request from Fu Yaoqin. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with her and Honored reputation with the Melody House.
• Score of Laughing at the World – Side with the Melody House and complete the “Visit Old Friends” quest as part of their questline. Then complete 10 baths with Fu Yaoqin.
• Spring White Snow Score – Buy from the Qunfang Hall Dojokeeper in Lin’an.
• Wind Outside Great Wall Score – Buy from the Tower of Prosperity Steward in Daliang.

Flute Martial Arts

• Ancient Song Score – Request it from Miao Caidie. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with her, 100 Toxicology Knowledge, and 1 Dragon Lice. You can get a Dragon Lice at the Longevity Tomb through the Confucius Temple sect questline.
• Flowing Mountain Stream Score – Buy from the Tower of Prosperity Steward in Daliang.
• Heart Stimulation Five Tunes – Recruit Li Leya. He can be found at the Chuxiang City Tea Shop after he leaves the prison.
• Hidden Fragrance Wave – Buy from the Qunfang Hall Dojokeeper in Lin’an.
• Partridge Day Score – Request it from Yu Weier at the Melody House when you have 40 Relations with her.
• Plum Flower Three Lanes Score – Request it from the Qunfang Hall Dojokeeper in Lin’an when you have 40 Relations with her.
• Soundwave Attack – Starting skill for the Flute. Can also be obtained by sparring 3 times with Li Leya at the Chuxiang City prison.

Fan Martial Arts

• Carefree Rain – Starting skill for the Fan.
• Dragon Phoenix Fan – Recruit Lu Zixu in Chuxiang City.
• Drifting Cloud Fan – Choose it as your welcome gift when you join the Confucius Temple sect.
• Flirting Butterly – Request it from Wan Yan Liang of the Yan Yun Army. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with her and 1 “Ode to the Goddess of the Luo River” painting. The painting can be bought from the Glittering Artifact House’s auction in Daliang City.
• Gentleman’s Courtship – Select it as your reward at the start of the “Mang Mountain Tomb”, which is part of the Confucius Temple sect’s questline.
• Returning Wind – Buy it from the Imperial School Dean in Daliang City.
• Spring and Autumn Fan – Join the Confucius Temple sect and learn the Confucius Thirteen Sutras Internal Art. Then, examine all 5 runestones with the central one being your last. Win all fights that trigger to get this Martial Art.
• Storming Cloud Fan – Request it from Zhu Ge Shenji at the Jiujiang Water Camp. You’ll need 40 Relations with him and 9 Intelligence.
• Wing Spreading – Buy it from the Imperial School Dean in Daliang City.
• Wish Granted Fan – Buy it from the Confucius Temple sect shop for 2500 Contribution Points.

Brush Martial Arts Part 1

• Cao Quan Steele – Learn the Quiet Valley Drawing brush martial art and win a sparring match against Shu Kuang in the Confucius Temple.
• Cold Food Observance – Buy it from the Confucius Temple sect shop for 2500 Contribution Points.
• Country Full of Beauties – Beat Qi Wang as part of the Ye Family Battalion’s “Ask for military pay” quest.
  • Alternatively, negotiate for a tribute under 800,000 Coins during the Yan Yun Iron Army’s “Request for annual tribute” quest. Beat Qi Wang and then return to speak with him to get the Martial Art.
  • As a last method, ask for 800,000 Coins during the Yan Yun Iron Army’s “Request for annual tribute” quest and defeat Qi Wang to get it instantly. This will be a harder fight, however.
• Death Invitation – Rescue Ling Hongxuan during the “Mang Mountain Tomb” quest as a member of the Confucius Temple. Either give him a Nine-times Refined Pill or feed him your own blood, other choices won’t unlock the Martial Art.
• Dragon Snake Pen – Starting skill for the Brush. Alternatively, buy it from the Imperial School Dean in Daliang City.
• Fishing Alone in the Cold River – Can be picked during character selection if you have the “Master of Short Weapon” achievement. You’ll get the achievement when you get 200 Short Knowledge in one playthrough.
• Frozen Storm – Select it as your reward at the start of the “Mang Mountain Tomb”, which is part of the Confucius Temple sect’s questline.

Brush Martial Arts Part 2

• Octagonal Inking Pen – Buy it from the Imperial School Dean in Daliang City.
• Orchid Pavillion Preface – Obtained through the Confucius Temple sect’s questline. First, spare Ming Bufan during the “Eliminate Tomb Raider Sect” quest.
  • However, keep in mind that he’ll attack you on sight if you didn’t cooperate with him during the “Mang Mountain Tomb” quest. If that’s the case, Meditate at Linglang Temple first.
  • Then, continue the questline until you visit the Longevity Tomb and open the central chest to get the “Orchid Pavilion Preface” Calligraphy.
  • Appraise it when you have Mastered Appraise Artwork and 20 Intelligence to get the Martial Art manual.
• Quiet Valley Drawing – Gift Hua Chi the equivalent of 25 Rare Nameless Paintings as a member of the Confucius Temple sect. Legendary paintings count as 25 and Epic count as 5. You can get a Legendary painting from Qi Wang in Daliang by trading or stealing.
• Spring and Autumn Pen – Choose it as your welcome gift when you join the Confucius Temple sect.
• World Inside Painting – Recruit Shuo Shuren at Cross Hill near the Nameless Village.

Dagger Martial Arts

• Cloud Dragon Three Strikes – Request from Bu Juechen of the Nest of Swallow. You’ll need to have 40 Relations with him and the reputation of Honored with the Nest of Swallow sect. Alternatively, eliminate the Nest of Swallow sect.
• Killer’s Secret – Meditate at the Waterfall in the Lin’an region to fight your inner demon. After the fight, you might get attacked by a man in black; defeat him. Repeat this process 3 times to get the Martial Art.
• Luminary Meteor Strike – Meet Feng Xuanji in the North West region and fully complete her questline, then recruit her.
• Meteor From Outer Space – Two different methods:
  • Meet and help Liu Yueying (Sakuraha) at Daliang City. Then, meet her at the Jiuli Tribe and agree to help her again.
  • Avoid meeting Lie Yueying (Sakuraha) at Daliang City. Then, meet her at the Jiuli Tribe and decide to not help her. Continue Yi Zhihua’s quest, then win the best against Sakuraha.
• Sea Serpent Head Hunter – Follow the Rich Merchant near the Nameless Village, then defeat the boss that you encounter.
• Shadow Cascade Shuttle – Successfully defeat Duke Qi in a duel with Ji Fuling as part of he quest.
• Silver Snake Mirage – Request it from Ding Haitang at the Jiujang Water Camp when you have 40 Relations with them and 80 Courage.
• Weaver’s Shuttle – As part of Ji Fuling’s quest, open the chest in the secret basement of her residence.
• Wind Breaker – Automatically earned when you join the Nest of Swallow.
• Wind Chaser – Trade with the Down-and-out Wanderer at the Nameless Village.
• Wind Stab – Starting skill for the Dagger. Alternatively, kill Li Three in Chuxiang City.
