How to Complete the Maiden House Puzzle Quest
To start the Maiden House Puzzle quest, you have to visit the Maiden House in Lin’an City, also known as the Qunfang Hall.

All you really have to do is to get the items and bring them back to her!
Now, here’s the solution for all of the four hints and where to get the items:
- Monk’s Body Pointing: The injured monk near the Ruined Shrine has it, his “name” should appear as “Man Reeking of Alcohol”. Talk with him and trade to get the item.
- NOTE: He might be imprisoned, so you’ll need to find him in jail if that’s the case. Additionally, you’ll be unable to get this item if he dies.
- Zither in the Chu Pavillion: This one is found inside the Maiden House itself. Just look for a zither and interact with it. Zithers are string instruments that look vaguely similar to harps.
- Chess Game Hidden in the Treasure: You can find this in the Exquisite Pavillion in Lin’an City. It’s on display in the middle right shelf of the shop, you can take it if the owner and guard aren’t looking.
- Tooth Gate: Found in the Backroom of the Government building in Lin’an City. It’s just sitting on one of the tables, it’s not hidden or anything.
Once you’ve acquired all 4 of these items, you just have to bring them to the Quan Hall Dojokeeper to turn them in and complete the quest!
