What The True Ending Is And How To Get It
While Hero’s Adventure features almost a dozen endings, there are also special True Endings in the game. These are marked in the gallery with a special stamp, separating them from regular endings.

How To Win in Enlightenment Tower (Tong Daoufu) in Hero’s Adventure: Road to PassionDec 22, 2023Out of these True Endings, the one that’s generally considered the most important one by the game and fans is the one where you essentially become the emperor.
To achieve this ending, you’ll need to conquer all 6 of the main sects, which are the following:
- Langya Sword Pavilion
- Shifa Temple
- Confucius Temple
- Taoist Sect
- Crime Investigation Bureau
- Nine Rivers Waterside Stronghold
Now, there are two variations to this ending as well: you can either achieve it peacefully or through bloodshed.
Become the Emperor | Jianghu Master and Jianghu Conqueror True Endings
Achieving it peacefully will earn you the “Jianghu Master” achievement and True Ending while doing it through bloodshed will unlock the “Jianghu Conqueror” achievement and True Ending.
For the Jianghu Master version of the True Ending, you’ll need to defeat the leaders of all 6 sects by selecting the “Surrender” option in dialogue.
All of them are tough, so you need to make sure to be prepared when tackling these fights!
Defeating all 6 sect leaders like this will have them submit to you peacefully, as they recognize your strength.
For the “Jianghu Conqueror” version, you’ll instead need to choose the “Banish” option when you speak with the sect leaders.
This will trigger a fight, with the sect leaders going all out to try to defeat you. After all, they want to ensure their sects’ survival!
Defeat them, however, and the sect will be officially banished by your hand.
Either way, you will be invited for a last series of fights at the Ascension Platform. Complete this final challenge and you’ll have earned either version of the True Ending!

Other True Endings
Base Game True Endings
Aside from the Jianghu Master and Jianghu Conqueror endings, there are 7 other True Endings in the base game. That means a total of 9 True Endings, so there’s quite a lot to see in this game!
To help you on your quest, here’s a quick summary of what you need to do for each one of these True Endings:

| Wandering in the Martial World | This is the default ending, obtained by defeating Duke Chai at the end of the game’s main story. |
| A New Journey | Start a new game and wait until the reinforcements appear when prompted to. Defeat them to get this early ending. |
| Loyalty | Follow the main story and successfully solve General Ye’s Court Trial, saving him. Break into the Imperial Palace then go to the Ye Family Battalion’s main tent to get the ending. It’s not necessary to have joined the Ye Family Battalion prior to this. |
| Dominating the World | Get the Loyalty ending and the Imperial Seal accessory. Then, continue the story as normal and defeat Duke Chai for this ending. |
| Peak of Jianghu | Win the Heaven Level Tournament and have Revered Fame, then challenge any major religious sect leader. Win at the Peak of Challenge to complete. Obtainable even if all sect leaders are dead. |
| Foreign Duke | Join the Yan Army and complete their storyline while also reaching 80+ Relationship with Wanyan Wuzhi. Accept the drink at the end. |
| Nine Factions Sect Master | Go to the Lost Forest and go north to meet Liu Shiba or the Woodcutter, revealing the Nameless Village within 2 days of starting the game. Go to the village and join the Old Man’s sect, then complete the sect’s storyline. |
DLC True Endings
Lastly, the game’s paid and free DLCs also add some extra True Endings as culminations to the new story arcs. As before, here’s a quick summary on how to achieve these True Endings:
