If you’re growing tired of traveling to settlements to turn in Bounty Tokens in Palworld: Feybreak, you might want to get a Bounty Officer for your own base.

One of the funniest little quirks of Palworld is that it allows you to capture humans just like Pals. Bounty Officers are no exception! This allows you to assign them to your base, too. Do so and you’ll never have to run to town to trade your Bounty Tokens away for useful rewards, such as Ancient Pal Manuscripts!

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get and bind a Bounty Officer to your own base in Palworld: Feybreak.

How to Get Your Own Bounty Officer | Palworld: Feybreak

There are some preparations you should make before you try to get your own Bounty Officer in Palworld: Feybreak. The first one is to make sure you have some high-tier Pal Spheres. Legendary Spheres should be the bare minimum, but you should ideally have Ultimate Spheres. You’ll also need to be above Level 40. The higher, the better!

It’s also highly recommended to get a Mercy Ring as well as some strong armor and weapons. You can get the Mercy Ring as a random drop from Treasure Chests or you can unlock it for crafting as an Ancient Technology at Level 19.

With that prep work done, you want to head to any settlement that houses a Bounty Officer. For example, you can go to Fisherman’s Point, marked on the map above.

Once there, make sure to equip your Mercy Ring and also put your Pals away. Attack the Bounty Officer and get his HP down to the minimum and then throw a Pal Sphere at him. It’s the same process as trying to capture a Pal, but the catch chance is much lower. Make sure to bring an ample supply of Pal Spheres!

As a tip, we recommend aiming for the head with the Pal Spheres. It’ll land as a Critical, increasing your chances of capturing the Bounty Officer.

Also, note that attacking the Bounty Officer will give you a Wanted level! To get rid of it, we recommend riding a flying mount and flying as high as possible. The Wanted level will disappear after you get high enough.

When you manage to catch the Bounty Officer, leave the settlement and go back to your base using the nearest Fast Travel statue.

Binding the Bounty Officer to Your Base

Now that you’re back at your base, you’ll need two things:

  • One Sandbag. It’s a Level 9 Defense Technology and costs 10 Wood and 10 Stone to build.
  • A Monitoring Stand. It’s a Level 15 Pal Technology and requires 30 Wood and 10 Stones to build.

Place both of these buildings on your base. Then, use the Palbox in your base to assign the Bounty Officer as one of the “Pals” at your base. Doubt he’d consider you a pal since you basically kidnapped him, but don’t worry too much about the details!

Anyway, the last thing you need to do is to approach the Monitoring Stand and use the Fixed Assigned Management option.

Look for the Sandbag you placed and select it, then assign the Bounty Officer to it. This will force him to always stand watch on the Sandbag, effectively binding him to your base permanently. You can even decorate around him to make it look like he’s running a shop!

So, there you have it. That’s how you can get your very own Bounty Officer at your base in Palworld: Feybreak. You can now speak with him whenever you wish to turn in Bounty Tokens. No more need to Fast Travel back and forth between settlements!
