You can change the color of every character’s clothes in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, letting you customize the characters somewhat.
Ever thought Rosetta would look nicer in a gothic black-and-white dress? Or maybe you’ve always wanted to see Lancelot with red armor, unlike his usual blue one? Well, now you can!
In this short guide, we’ll tell you how to customize your characters in Granblue Fantasy: Relink by changing the color of their clothes.
How to Change Your Clothes’ Color
You can change the colors of your character’s clothes (and hair!) at any time by using the Customize Character menu.
That said, you will first need to unlock the colors. Most of them are earned via the endgame, though some of them can also be purchased as DLC.
Now, finding the Customize Character menu is a bit tricky as it’s nestled fairly deep in the pause menu.
To start, though, pause the game and open the Party menu.
Select the character you want to customize and then press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to open the Character Details page.
While looking at the Character Details, press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) once again to finally open the Customize Character interface.
Select Switch Colors from the window and you’re all set to go, you cannot freely switch to any of the colors you have unlocked or purchased!
You can only switch colors in sets, though, so you don’t get to mix and match parts of the available color palettes.
For example, if you want red hair on Gran you will need to use Color 1, which also has golden armor and orange clothes. It’s all a package deal, so it is what it is!
Nonetheless, you can at least change colors for every single character individually, so there’s that.
Now, go out there and make use of this feature to show off your favorite color schemes and clothes as you take into the game’s online multiplayer!
