It’s much easier to get lost in a rain of bullets within this action-packed game set in the old warzones of WW1 and the Napoleonic era.  Holdfast: Nations at War brings a lot of new stuff to the table when it comes to warzone games.  Much like others in the genre, it involves a mass-scale battleground with a plethora of new arsenal and ways to win the game.

In a gun-dominated world, there stood a class that uses unconventional methods to win a skirmish.  Here’s how you can make best use of the Carpenter class.

How To Use Carpenter – Holdfast Nations At War

As a support class, the Carpenter is not used as a frontliner but rather works as a saboteur of sorts for your enemies’ structures and holdings.  There can only be three in a faction per game and they are vital towards securing success for a siege.

Before we move on to it’s unique weapon, we’re going to focus on it’s gun, the Blunderbuss.  It’s not made for long distances as the range is pretty close.

You can compare it to modern shotguns as it’s capable of killing more than one enemy if you’re skilled enough for it.

The weapon of choice for most Carpenter mains is it’s melee weapon, the Axe.  While swords are more common, axes have their own charm as they are capable of killing a person with just one hit.  The main objective of Carpenters is to break as many Sapper constructs as you can.

Focus on Sapper cannons as they can deal a huge chunk of damage to your team.  You can also swing your axe to kill enemy horses.  Remember that it only takes one swing to kill an enemy and hitting them precisely with no room for error is the key to winning a fight.

Practice makes perfect, and once you master this class, you could be invincible!
