Enemies can end you quickly during combat in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, but managing to kill them all in one turn will keep them from even attacking you!
Sometimes the best defense is offense, and that sure is the case in Rogue Trader. Abusing abilities that give you extra actions can let you kill enemies before they even act.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to make sure that you kill all enemies in a single turn.
How To Kill Enemies In One Turn In Rogue Trader
The best way to ensure that you can kill enemies in one turn is to abuse the Officer’s skill set.
You will want to make sure to have the “Seize the Initative” talent which gives the Officer an extra turn at the start of combat, although they can only use Officer abilities during this extra turn.
Notably, though, Officer abilities like “Bring It Down!” let the Officer instantly give an extra turn to another unit. Although, this turn only has 2 Action Points (AP) and 0 Movement Points (MP)…
Also, you will want to make sure that your party has high Resolve so that you generate lots of Momentum.
What will you spend your Momentum on? Yet another one of the Officer’s abilities!
More specifically, you’ll try to generate as much Momentum as possible so that your Officer can use the “Finest Hour!” Heroic Act.
“Finest Hour!” will let the Officer give an extra turn with full AP and MP to any ally.
To sweeten the deal even further, “Finest Hour! (Upgrade IV)” makes it so that every kill done during this extra turn regenerates AP and MP!
Momentum generates on kills too, so you can potentially keep using “Finest Hour!” over and over if you get enough kills during extra turns.
In short, you’ll just want to abuse every ability you have to regenerate AP. Builds likePlasma Lord Pasqalare also great for this.
The Plasma Lord build allows Pasqal to regenerate AP anytime he shoots an enemy with a plasma weapon.
Combine that with an Officer that bolsters him with “Bring It Down!” and “Finest Hour!” and Pasqal will have nearly infinite AP, making it very easy to kill all enemies in a single turn!
