Assassin’s Creed Shadows is full of quests that will make you run around the different regions looking for stuff based on fairly straightforward and easy to follow clues. At some point in the game, you are going to be looking for clues about the Kakushiba ikki, and this involves going to various locations and looking for, well, clues. Here are all the locations you have to go to in order to get it done.
Find Clues About the Kakushiba Ikki Guide
In order to find all of the clues about the Kakushiba ikki, you will need to go to four different assassin outposts scattered throughout the entire map. Luckily, these steps are very straightforward, as you literally only need to go there and grab notes that are just sitting there.
Here are all four of the assassin outposts that you need to check:
Clue #1. Omi Assassin Outpost – It is found to the southwest of Suzuka Foothills, specifically near the Path of the Blade. The exact location is highlighted on the map image below. The letter you need is found in the small makeshift camp found in the marked area.
Clue #2. Yamato Assassin Outpost – This can be found to the southwest of the Katsuragi area, specifically near the Kompira Shrine. The letter you need is at the first floor of the building in the marked area, on top of a table with various tools and weapons around it.
Clue #3. Iga Assassin Outpost – This one is to the south of the Nabari Wilds area, specifically to the southeast of the Akame Shi Waterfalls. Just follow the Path of Shadows like all the rest of the “path” challenges earlier in the game, and you will eventually find a makeshift camp at the end with the letter waiting to be picked up.
Clue #4. Kii Assassin Outpost – Finally, this one is found to the east of the Iseji Trails, just near the coast in that area. Just like the others, follow the Path of the Chosen just like any of the “path” challenges before. At the end of all the parkouring, a makeshift camp near the reward chest will contain the clue.
And those are all of the spots that you need to go to in order to find clues about the Kakushiba ikki. It really is just that straightforward, and you do not need any guidance to pass the “path” challenges, as you only need to follow the yellow paint and banners that essentially railroad you through it.

If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
