In Chapter 2 of the game called Newcomers, you will be able to learn how to make your very first igniter. With this ammo type, you’ll be able to start fires, making it possibly the most useful among all other ammo types. However, you will need one alcohol and one sulphur to make it.

In this guide, I’ll show you how you can get sulphur in the second chapter.

How to Get Sulfur Chapter 2 in A Plague Tale: Requiem

In order to get sulphur, you have to solve the elevator puzzle in this chapter. Once you have the objective which is to get sulphur, make your way up the ladder to the left. Above, you will find a crank that will activate the elevator.

Have Lucas spin the crank, which will then cause the elevator to go up. Then, make your way to the platform on the other side to find a cart. Move the cart and place it on top of the lift.

After that, tell Lucas to stop the elevator in order to bring the cart to the lower floor.

Move the cart once again, and this time, place it below the platform where the chest containing the sulphur is located. Once done, you simply have to climb up the platform and open the chest to obtain its contents.
