Fans of games like Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon rejoice, as we now have Coral Island, a relaxing and vibrant sim game where you get to meet a diverse cast of characters and build up a farm from scratch!

As with other games in the genre, you can start a relationship with one of the characters and live a (hopefully) happy married life alongside your chosen companion. With that in mind, is it possible to end your marriage with them, or will you be stuck with your choice no matter what?

Can You Divorce After Getting Married?

Unfortunately, as of now, there isn’t any news as to whether or not you can separate from your partner after getting married.

The game is still in its infancy, however, so things may change later on. The wiki is also still being updated as the game just came out, so somebody may be able to discover a way to separate from your significant other if you ever change your mind.

At the moment, you can have up to two children as well, and some users claim that a separation mechanic would make that aspect a bit awkward from a game design perspective.

There is a divorcee character that you can romance in the game, however, which may imply that the developers are open to exploring this option eventually.
