Mission 5 Festung Guernsey of Sniper Elite 5 features a handful of options you can choose from to complete it. In the beginning, the game will instruct you to “Find the scuttle code” and “Start a chain reaction”. Eventually, it will direct you to “Destroy the Kraken prototype”.

It’s not really a complicated objective, but it does involve a number of steps. This guide will tell you what those are.

How to Destroy the Kraken Prototype | Mission 5 in Sniper Elite 5

First off, you’ll need to head over to the marked location on the map. Once you get there, go inside the bunker, and go down the ladder then make your way to an open area with a submarine below.

However, instead of going toward the submarine, go left and look for a small hallway located near the last door. You’ll then arrive at the engine room from which you’ll then have to turn left and go inside the room at the very end. Here, collect the classified documents that are on the table.

Overloading the Pressure Valves

After completing the above steps, look for the two pressure valves. One is inside the engine room just right below a staircase while the other is in the adjacent room. After turning them on, look for the control panel inside the engine room and interact with it. This will open the vents.

Then, exit the underground bunker via the door on the right of the engine room. Look for a Satchel Charger inside one of the Armory rooms, then drop it into the vent. This will then destroy the Kraken prototype, thus concluding the mission.
