Minecraft Legends features a new small type of golems as your main allies, but the classic bulky golems are still available in the game. They’re also as strong as always!
These original golems are known as “The Firsts”, which means they’re an ancestor of the new smaller golems.
But how can you enlist these powerful ancient golems in your army? This guide will tell you how.
How to Unlock Classic Golems in Minecraft Legends
To get the ancestral Golems, you first need to build an improvement for your Well of Fate.
You will have to build “Improvement: Wake the Firsts” which requires 100 Cobblestone and 100 Prismarine, but it can only be made after finding one Deconstructed Golem in the world.
Deconstructed Golems are found spread all over the game’s world and are usually shown as question marks on your map and compass.
Once you’ve met the previous conditions, go back to where you found the Deconstructed Golem.
Approach them and press the button shown for the “Assemble” prompt. Do note that this will consume resources! The resources used will be shown on the bottom left of the screen.
The Firsts will join you just like every other friendly mob in the game, so you can control them using your banner like every other mob.
There are four different types of Firsts which are as follows:
First of Brick – A defensive unit that protects allies from projectiles.
First of Diorite – Spawns the regular Golem minions during battle.
First of Oak – A ranged unit that fires arrows to attack distant enemies.
First of Stone – Throws boulders from a distance, dealing huge damage to buildings.
Despite their extreme power and tankiness, these golems are not invincible! They will die once they take enough damage.
However, you can assemble them again at Village Fountains and Beacons if this happens. Just keep in mind that this will consume resources again.
Make sure to explore thoroughly, as there are multiple types of Firsts for you to awaken. Find them all to bolster your army’s strength.
