Coral Island: How to Upgrade Crops

You can cultivate a farm and keep animals on Coral Island. You can engage in conversation with the locals by forming friendships with them. In some cases, romance is possible.

There are features like some festival features that are not available because the game is currently in early access. You can upgrade your crops in the game, and we’ll show you how to do that.

How to Upgrade Crops in Coral Island

Crops on Coral Island require regular irrigation to grow. On the other hand, you are not required to do anything if it is raining. The following day, a hydrated crop will grow. While a crop that hasn’t been watered will not grow the following day and won’t wilt till the season changes.

Although some crops can be planted throughout the year, crops are also seasonal. At the lab, you can also enhance your crops.

Upgrading Your Crops

You must first create an Extractor if you want to improve your crops. Enabling you to create a bronze kelp essence. You must have the bronze kelp essence to enhance your crops.

Go to the Research Lab and right-click on the table to speak with Ling. When you choose the “Upgrade produce quality” option, the window in the following image will appear. Then, you can choose to upgrade your crops to level 1 (Bronze), level 2 (Silver), level 3 (Gold), and finally, level 4 (Platinum).

Upgrading them and grinding for the Bronze kelp essence will take some time.
