How to Play Blox Fruits | Beginner’s Guide in Roblox

The Blox Fruits are what you are going to keep an eye for in this game. Upon obtaining these fruits, you will be acquiring specific skills related to the fruit you have obtained. Remember that a different fruit gives a different ability. Keep this in mind because you can freely change your ability anytime.

Now, enough with the brief introduction. Let’s move on to the basics of the game.

Choosing a Team

When you start and enter the game, the first thing that you will have to deal with is your decision-making skills.

You will be asked whether you like to be a part of the Pirates or the Marines. Picking each side gives you different passive attributes. Picking the marines will give you faster and cheaper ships. While choosing the pirates will give you a high player bounty.

After choosing, you will be spawned to the starting island of the team that you have chosen. Here, you will be having a tutorial and some instructions on how to manage the game.

One of the most important things you should know is about the player’s stats. You can see at the bottom left the two bars for your health and energy. Your energy will be used up if you use a dash, but immediately goes back to full once you stop dashing. So, be careful and mindful of when you are going to dash.

Another thing is the compass. It is located on the left side of the screen. Clicking it will show you the quests and quest details. Click the Track button and you will see the compass moving as how compasses work. You will know if the location you are facing is correct if the compass indicator turns green.

Quests

Quest givers, as implied in the name, give you quests in the game. You can easily tell if there is a quest giver around because of their big exclamation point.

Interact with them, and the screen will show you different quests that you can choose from. However, you cannot easily deal with quests. There is a minimum level requirement for each task, and you should just pick the ones that you can do at your level.

Combat

The next thing that you need to know is about fighting. When playing Blox Fruits, you will encounter a lot of fighting situations which is why it is important for you to know this as well.

For you to land a punch attack on someone, you have to switch your character to combat mode by clicking the Combat button at the bottom of the screen.

However, you are not limited to punching when it comes to fighting. There are also other forms of melee attacks that you will have to learn throughout the game. Plus, there are also some long-ranged attacks such as guns and bazookas.

Take note also that using your combat skills increases your mastery of the specific attack you are using. Upon leveling up, you will be able to unlock some more skills that can help you win fights faster.

Player Stats

The next thing that you need to pay attention to is your player stats. Here, you can check the level of your melee attacks, defense, sword, and gun power, as well as your Blox Fruit.

Upgrading these stats increases your damage and defense. It is also important to know that upgrading your melee also increases your total energy while upgrading your defense increases your health.

Beli

Beli is what the currency in Blox Fruit is called. You can use this to buy weapons such as guns or swords.

Any purchased weapon or equipment will appear in your Items tab you can check on the left side of the screen.
