Slime Rancher 2: Where to Find Fire Slime Location Guide

One of the many available Slimes in Slime Rancher 2, the “Fire Slime” is found in particularly toasty warm locales – notably the molten lava regions of Ember Valley.

They will only consume ‘ash,’ but will produce Fire Plorts for you, and are worth harvesting. We’ll tell you exactly where to locate these Slimes in our “Where to Find Fire Slime Location Guide.”

Where to Find Fire Slimes in Slime Rancher 2 – A Location Guide

Fire Slimes are best located within the Ember Valley region of Slime Rancher 2. They can be found near the more volcanic zones. You’ll see an example of these locations indicated on the maps pictured below.

After reaching Ember Valley, you’ll want to make sure you head over to the ‘hotter’ parts of the map, indicated by gray stone and molten lava.

Fire Slimes cannot survive without ash or lava. As bringing back lava isn’t feasible, you’ll need the Incinerator and the upgrade “Ash Trough” to create ash for the Fire Slimes once you’ve captured them.

Once in Ember Valley, you’ll need to head to the far west. The Fire Slimes will be much further to the back-end of the region, after you’ve already noticed/encountered slimes like Boom Slimes and Batty Slimes.

You’ll want to look out for large pools (almost pond-like) of fire. You’ll see the Fire Slimes rolling around and bouncing within these large pools.
