Albert Wesker is easy to spot. The terror radius activates when he is as far as 40 meters away from you compared to the other killers in the game.

That doesn’t mean he is easy to hide from or outrun though. This guy is pretty fast and if he spots you from afar, chances are you are as good as dead.

You could tell if Wesker is your killer by looking at the chests and player icons. If you see black splotches behind the characters chance are it is going to be Wesker hunting for you.

Always cleanse your critical infections or else you risk the chance of an instant pickup from Wesker. Getting infected will also cause you to move a little slower.

When healing yourself of these infections, be careful where you do it. This is because he would be able to see you with his Killer Instinct right after you apply the spray on yourself.

Exploit Area Advantages

There are different advantages to being in an open or closed area when facing Wesker. Open areas are more beneficial if  He dashes towards you. if you get caught in his dash, anywhere he throws you would be an open area where you can pick yourself up with no damage and try to get away.

Avoid Dashes

With a Closed area, you have to avoid all his dashes since he could throw you around and deal damage. It would be harder for you to recover in a closed area right after being thrown around and hitting walls and other objects.

Staying close to objects that you can jump behind to dodge is also a good strategy when facing Wesker in a closed space. You also have to have unpredictable movement when facing him. Try to move left or right with no patterns since his main attack is dashing towards you.

If you move in a predictable manner, it would be easier for him to home on you by timing his dashes towards your anticipated location.

Disrupt Target Line

In both open or closed spaces, move from left to right to make him miss you when he dashes. Always try to break his line once he comes up for a second dash. Since he can only adjust his dashes in a straight line, turning hard left or right would let you avoid his dash easily.

Doing so while also give you precious seconds to escape while he comes off the second dash and runs towards you.

Looping Wesker

When inside a loop with Wesker, try to make your loop as tight as you can. This will make his dash hard to use. Once he winds up to track your movement for a dash, it’s a good strategy to reset the loop by going in the opposite direction outside of the loop he is on since he would move slower coming out of the loop.

When you get to pick your loop, try to avoid loops that have an easy line of sight for Wesker to dash you. Plan your path with objects sticking out where you can break his line of sight or mess up his dash.

Bound Vault

When using pallets, do not pre-drop them since Wesker can quickly vault over these and get to you quicker. Instead, either fake it and make him think you are going to drop it and continue to your loop as he slows down and waits for the pallet to drop.

Time you drop as he goes in to stun him. If you can predict his dash you could even drop the pallet and catch him mid-dash to stun him while you make your escape.

When exiting through windows, bear in mind that Wesker can easily outrun you with his dash. So when he is hot behind you while you reach a window, fake vault it and press on. He’s more likely to dash straight towards the window hoping to catch you and end up flying on the other side while you make trails until he recovers.
