Our tier list ranks all of the weapon combinations in Throne & Libertyfrom best to worst, helping you figure out which one to pick if you’re a meta player.
Throne & Liberty is fairly unique in that it doesn’t have a traditional class system. Instead, you can pick 2 out of 7 weapons. The combinations these weapons make, then, define your playstyle and “class”. Of course, this means there are 21 different possible combinations, and not all of them are equally as good.
In this tier list, we’ll rank every single weapon combination from best to worst.
Best Weapon Combinations | Throne & Liberty Tier List
Our tier list, which you can see above, ranks all of the weapon combinations in the game from best to worst based on their overall performance. That means we take into account how these combinations perform in pretty much every area of both PvP and PvE. Those at the very top pretty much excel in every single mode, no questions asked.
Top-tier weapon combinations have impressively strong synergies, which is why they shine in the meta. The combination of Sword & Shield + Wand & Tome basically allows you to become a near-unkillable tank, for example. As another example, the Bow + Staff allow you to dish out incredibly high damage while staying safely out of range.
If you’re simply looking for the best potential weapon combinations to main in Throne & Liberty, you can’t go wrong with any of our picks in the S and A ranks of the tier list!
Conversely, the ones at the bottom are pretty subpar in every game mode. This is primarily due to poor synergy between both weapon types, or simply because they get outshined by other combinations in the same role.
For example, Sword & Shield + Crossbow might sound good on paper. You get some extra range to make up for the Sword & Shield’s melee range, after all. In execution, though, you lose your ability to tank and only get solid single-target damage to compensate.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
