7 articlesThe Generalist is one of the first traders you will want to track down in Road to Vostok. He is your go-to for buying, selling, and picking up quest items early on, and since the game does not hold your hand at all, a lot of new players end up wandering around the Village not knowing where he actually is.
He is tucked away just outside the Village spawn area but the path to him involves a few turns that are easy to miss if you do not know what you are looking for. In this guide, I will show you exactly where to find him.
Location of the Generalist
The Generalist is located in the Village, more specifically “Village (Area 05)“. Spawn there and from your spawn location, follow the train track until you reach a couple of buildings on your left. Head towards the building in the middle, the one whose gate is slightly open. Go through the gate and you will find the Generalist at the end of the building. If you are still having trouble pinpointing the exact spot, watch the video below for a clear visual walkthrough of the route.
Parting Advice
Once you have found the Generalist, it is worth knowing that his inventory restocks every 10 minutes. It is also completely randomized each time. So if he does not have what you need on your first visit do not just stand there waiting. The fastest way to force a restock is to head back to the shelter and exit again. He will spawn with a fresh random inventory every time you do.
