If you’re going to take on the daunting crypts and crumbling post-apocalyptic world of The Last Faith, you’ll have to equip yourself with the most adept weapons you can lay your hand on. While some of the weapons are within reach, some are hidden behind some very gimmicky challenges and secrets.
If you’re on the quest to collect all the primary weapons in The Last Faith, I’ve got you covered! I’ll show you everything you’ll need to know, including the nitty-gritty details (location of the goblets, flames and such) to acquire all 13 primary weapons in the game, which is also unlocks the Weapon Hoarder trophy. Let’s take a look!
All Primary Weapon Locations (Weapon Hoarder Achievement Trophy
There’s a total of 13 Primary Weapons (including the starter weapon, Nightfall Blade) to complete them for the Weapon Hoarder achievement/trophy. If you’re only looking for certain weapons, feel free to use the table of contents below.
NOTE: For the exact location, I’ll be providing map images that you may refer to.
Skullcleaver
For the Skullcleaver, you can pick it up from a chest located in the first layer of the Broken Pass.
After arriving at the area, move towards the left and you’ll be able to spot the chest in the corner in between 2 statues.
Nighttide’s Rout
Up next, we have the Nighttide’s Rout, which you can find behind a hidden breakable wall in the first layer of the City of Mythringal.
After climbing the down/up the ladders and arriving at the location (there will be a lever nearby), look to your left. There’s a breakable wall that you must destroy to get into the other side of the room.
Inside, you’ll be able to pick up the Nighttide’s Rout chilling in a chest at the end of the room.
Ethereal Great Blade
For the Ethreal Great Blade, you’ll be able to find it from a chest situated in the first layer of the Drowned Crypt.
After arriving at the location, look to your right and go through the room where you’ll find the chest at the end of the room.
Blunderblade
As for the Blunderblade, you can simply buy it from Mariano in the second layer of the Oxnevylle’s Manor for 9500.
You won’t have to complete anything and can buy it right off the bat.
Stormchase Macewhip
Up next, there’s the Stormchase Macewhip which can be found on the first layer of The Esk Mansion. After arriving at the location, enter the room to the left.
Severance Reaper
Compared to the other weapons mentioned before, the Severance Reaper stands out as a more thrilling experience.
Before you’re able to get it, you must go through a challenging encounter a couple monster (basically a gauntlet), which you’ll have to beat before getting the chance to get the weapon.
First, go to this location marked in the first layer of the Damned Ruins of the Osseus Fortress as shown in the image below.
After arriving at the location, enter the room to the left. Upon entering, a wave of monsters will spawn.
Defeat all of them and enter the door to the left afterwards, where you’ll be able to pick up the Severance Reaper from a chest in the small room.
The Rift Of Blood
Up next, we have TheRift of Blood which is one nutty weapon by the way. However, it requires another challenging approach similar to the Severance Reaper.
But this time, you’ll have to find four golden goblets to unlock a secret room. You can probably get all four before getting the air dash, but one goblet needs it to get out, risking your souls.
As for the location of the 4 golden goblets, they’re behind breakable walls in the corners of the fortress. Make sure to check every nook and cranny. Also, each goblet will require you to beat a gauntlet, so be prepared.
TIP: If there is anything I could give you to find all the “secrets” of the game much easier, I recommend SMASHING all the walls that you come across. That way, nothing is left out.
After successfully finding all the golden goblets, you’ll get a notification that you have unlocked the “Casket with four blood goblets”. Now, where is that casket located?
It’s in this area of the Damned Ruins of the Osseus Fortress – first layer as shown in the image.
Starting from the first teleport altar (Ruined Outpost), go left, then all the way down, and finally, take another left. You’ll find the room there. Then, you’ll have to take a nap.
After that, you’ll be teleported in a room with 4 coffins. Inside, The Rift Of Blood will be located in the third one, though make sure to get all the other loot as well.
Spinal Chain Blade
Next, we have the Spinal Chain Blade. You can find this one on the first layer of the Liturgical Pass.
After arriving at the location, look to your right and enter the room next to the ladder. Inside, you’ll able to pick up it up from a chest in the middle of the room.
Illygarth Boreal Blade
As for the Illygarth Boreal Blade, you can pick it up as a drop after defeating the Starlight Beast of Illygarth secret boss in the game.
Now, how do you encounter this secret boss? In the ice area, head to the left, take the elevator down, and enter the cave. Look for a hidden wall that you need to break. You’ll then arrive at the Moonshade Lake and the bossfight will begin.
However, keep in mind that this boss is tough nut to crack. You may come across it on your early playthrough thinking it was the third boss (Welp, it’s not).
Trust me, you’ll be spending 3 hours dodging its attack and yet, you won’t even be able to scratch its health bar. That said, come back to it once you’re loaded and show it who’s the real boss!
Also, again, listen to my tip, man. If you don’t want to miss out on all the content, destroy-every-single-wall-in-the-game!
Holy Winged Axe
Up next, we have the Holy Winged Axe. For this one, make your way to this location in the first layer of the Ordens Regnant Palace.
Upon reaching the area, head to the left to find a lever. Interact with it to bring an elevator up.
Once it’s ready, hop on and ride it down.
Halfway through the ride, look to your right and you’ll be able to spot an area you can explore.
Jump across and enter the room. Inside, you’ll be able to pick up the Holy Winged Axe from a chest or coffin situated in the middle.
The Devourer of the Betrayed
Then, we have TheDevourer of the Betrayed, which also requires a bit of a challenge to get. For this one, you’ll have to find and hit 4 hidden flames in the City of Mythringal.
As for the location of the flames, you may refer to the map image below. Although take note that you will need to have the double jump ability to reach most of the areas.
After successfully collecting all the flames, you’ll get a notification that you’ve unlocked a secret location. Now, where is that exactly?
Go to this location shown in the image below. Similar to the The Rift Of Blood, you’ll have to take a nap on the stone structure in the area.
Afterwards, you’ll be teleported into a room where you’ll be able to pick up the The Devourer of the Betrayed in this chest, as shown in the image below. Make sure to pick up the other goodies as well!
Firestriker Blade
Lastly, we have the Firestriker Blade, which you can also buy from Mariano in the second layer of theOxnevylle’s Manor for 9500.
However, it will not appear unless you have at least defeated the Manfredd the Accursed boss. (I’m not sure if it’s the same for you though, check it out if you can get it earlier).
