The Last Faith is a role-playing game that combines elements from both Metroidvania and Souls game genres. In this game, players immerse themselves in a dark and gothic world where they can find different types of weapons and firearms.
You will need to find four family crests and use them to ultimately fight a boss monster Nyxaroth the Eldritch Wight. This will also reward you corresponding achievements.
Locations Of All The Family Crests
Discovering the family crests requires a substantial amount of time if you do not know their exact locations. Below is the list of all the Family Crests found in The Last Faith and where you can obtain them.
The Blackhall Family Crest – The Esk Mansion
The first family crest that you can get in The Last Faith is The Blackhall Family crest which is located in the Esk Mansion. To get there, you’ll have to teleport.
From the second layer of the Telwynill Village, you will have to enter this room and go through the door on the bottom-left side of the area.
To proceed into the next room, you have to break a wall that leads to the next room where you’ll have to use the teleporting mirror in the middle.
After warping, you will find another breakable wall to your right that will lead you to the next room, which hosts the treasure chest that contains The Blackhall Family Crest.
The Ordens Family Crest – Orderns Regnant Palace
The second family crest that you can get in The Last Faith is the Ordens Family Crest Located in the first layer of Ordens Regnant Palace.
This family crest will require your character Lost Mark of the Transcendence stigma for you to acquire it.
Now, to find the “Lost Mark Of Transcendence” in the Liturgical Pass area, go to this location shown in the image below.
Then, face the boss named “The Burnt Apostate” there. Beat the boss to earn the “Ashes Of the Burned” achievement, as well as access to the room that contains the stigma.
From the initial location, you will need to use this transformation to blink & double-jump through the gap from the right room towards the left.
You will then arrive at a room where you’ll find a treasure chest that contains the Ordens Family Crest.
The Walryn Family Crest – Temple of the Deposed God
The third family crest that you can get is the Walryn Family Crest, which is located in the first layer of the Temple of the Deposed Gods. Before ultimately arriving to the room, you’ll come across a gauntlet.
You must kill all of these monsters which drops some Healing Injection and Blue Haemolymph Stones to proceed.
After defeating the monsters, proceed to the right and you will arrive in a certain room that has a treasure chest in the center.
You need to interact with the chest in order to obtain the Walryn Family Crest.
The Oxnevylle Family Crest – Reward for a Certain Quest
The final crest that you need to find in the Last Faith is the Oxnevylle Family Crest which is a reward for a quest given out by the NPC named Woman in Ink.
In the first layer of the Broken Pass map, you have to interact with the Woman in Ink in order to start a quest that requires you to find 20 Unborn of the Midnight Aristocracy.
For her exact location, simply go right from the initial point as shown in the image below.
After handing out the required items to the Woman in Ink, the quest will be completed, and the NPC will give you the final crest which is the Oxnevylle Family Crest as a reward.
How To Use Crests & Fight Nyxaroth the Eldritch Wight
After gathering all four of the hidden family crests, you can put them on the wall in the bottom part of the first layer of the Drowned Crypt to spawn a boss monster Nyxaroth the Eldritch Wight.
To trigger the spawning of the boss, after you have inserted the family crests, you must enter the sliding gate on the left that lets you proceed to the next room.
There you will see a sacrificial altar, and then let your character rest on it. Upon waking up, your character is transported to another area where you can fight Nyxaroth the Eldritch Wight.
The key to defeating this boss is simply memorizing its attack pattern as it makes it easier to dodge its attacks as you get used to it. Nyxaroth the Eldritch Wight has multiple attack patterns; ground attacks, meteor showers, and summoning minions.
After you defeat Nyxaroth the Eldritch Wight, you are then able to enter the next room where you can acquire the Peasant Note item from the ground, as well as the Bright Comet Charm from the treasure chest in the middle of the room.
This charm is a great item that reduces your character’s power cost to 15%.
There you have it! Again, you’ll have to place them in the crypt’s wall to spawn the Nyxaroth the Eldritch Wight boss fight, which is something you 100% wouldn’t want to miss.
