One of the new missions in Warzone 2 DMZ’s Season 3 will require you to collect 3 Calling Cards from the Scavenger.

Who even is the Scavenger, anyway? As it turns out, he’s a very sneaky and unique new boss that can be found in all DMZ maps, and he’s the only way to get the Calling Cards.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get the Scavenger to appear and how to collect Calling Cards from him.

Calling Cards can only be found by waiting for the new secret boss, the Scavenger. This boss spawns randomly as long as there are dead players in the game.

Sadly, whether he spawns or not is completely random. He also can take quite a while to appear, which makes him quite annoying to hunt down.

Keep taking out enemy players and wait near their corpses as much as possible. The Scavenger will hopefully decide to visit them.

You should get a notification saying that the Scavenger is nearby when he does appear, but only if you completed a Secure Intel contract beforehand.

The good news is that you don’t actually need to kill the Scavenger himself! You only need to wait for him to loot dead players.

After you notice the Scavenger interact with a player’s body, wait for him to leave. Get close to the corpse and loot it yourself afterward.

You should find the Scavenger’s Calling Card on the corpse instead of the usual Dog Tags.

Be careful if you do find the boss himself, however. He’s protected by a large group of Shadow Company bots, and he also likes to drop smoke grenades to conceal himself.

He usually runs away from players instead of engaging them, but be careful if he does fight back. He will use the weapons he scavenges from dead players, so he might have some powerful meta loadouts!

Regardless, you only need to focus on the bodies he has looted and left a Calling Card on. Just wait for him to loot, then pick up the Calling Card.

Do this 3 times to complete the Calling Card mission.
