LEGO Fortnite: Where To Find Rough Amber & Make Cut Amber

Amber is a very important material when progressing from Tier 2 to Tier 3 tools and weapons. In fact essential to progression. Anyways, if you’re like me, you’ve probably been pondering around struggling to find this material. Well, we’ve found Rough Amber and today we’ll give you the exact location where you can farm this material in order to progress in LEGO Fortnite!

Where To Find Rough Amber

Rough Amber can be found in the Dry Valley biome in LEGO Fortnite. It’s usually around or on rocky terrains and you can mine it using an uncommon (level 2) pickaxe. Make sure to increase the pickaxe’s durability whenever you get the chance!

The Dry Valley biome is the desert biome and you’ll need to go exploring if you want to find it. Each world is different so we can’t pinpoint its exact location, but an easy way to find it would be to travel south.

I would’ve said get and use the glider to find Dry Valley, but truth be told, players will need to find Amber first if they want to unlock the glider.

It may be a good idea to also take some of your villagers to help you on your quest in finding Rough Amber. You can do this by assigning villagers the task of following you.

How To Make Cut Amber

I suspect the reason you’re looking for Rough Amber in the first place is to get some Cut Amber and get better tools and weapons. Well, to make Cut Amber, you need to first make a Gem Cutter. To make a Gem Cutter, you’ll need the following materials:

• x20 Marble Slab
• x5 Rough Amber
• x5 Sand Claw
• x3 Sand Shell

Once you have all those materials, you can build the Gem Cutter. Then, you can use it to refine Rough Amber to Cut Amber.
