Genshin Impact: All 4 Iridescent Inscription Fragment Locations

Iridescent Inscription Fragments are valuable items that can be pretty hard to come by. There are exactly 4 in Genshin Impact, with each of them located in different areas of the map.

Our guide will be looking at where you need to go for each fragment, and what you need to do to get them. Once you have all 4, you can hand them over to an NPC to earn yourself an amazing reward. So without wasting any more time, let’s get straight into it.

All 4 Iridescent Inscription Fragment Locations

Iridescent Inscription Fragment #1

To get the first Iridescent Inscription Fragment, you will need to complete the “Beneath the Crystal Rock” and “Peace to the Slumbering” quests.

You can start the “Beneath the Crystal Rock” quest through Titu. Titu’s exact location is shown on the map above. After you complete this quest, you can start tracking the “Peace to the Slumbering” quest.

This second quest will take you deep into the surface, and after you complete it, a Luxurious Chest will spawn in front of you. The first Iridescent Inscription Fragment can be found in this chest.

Iridescent Inscription Fragment #2

Getting the second fragment will require you to complete 2 more quests called “Between Pledge and Forgettance” and “Revelations From the Past”.

So for the “Between Pledge and Forgettance” quest, you will need to go and talk to Manqu. His exact location is shown on the map above.

Once that quest is complete, you can start working towards the “Revelations from the Past” quest. This quest will take you through an extremely challenging barrier puzzle that you must complete to progress. You can find the solution to this puzzle through our guide on it.

The Iridescent Inscription Fragment will be given to you as a reward for completing the quest.

Iridescent Inscription Fragment #3

Once again, you will need to complete 2 different quests to get the fragment you are looking for. The quests you need to complete for this fragment are “Tracer no Tracing” and ‘Seeker no Finding”.

So for the “Tracer no Tracing” quest, you will need to go to the north end part of Ameyalco Waters. The exact location you need to go to for this quest is shown above.

Once that quest is complete, you’ll instantly be able to start the “Seeker No Finding” quest. You will get the third Iridescent Inscription Fragment as a reward for completing this quest.

Iridescent Inscription Fragment #4

Getting the final fragment will require you to complete 3 different Firethief’s Secret Isle challenges. All 3 of these challenges can be found on a hidden island in the southeast corner of the map.

It’s important to note that this island will not show up on your map. You’ll only be able to see water on the map, even when you are on the island. The image above shows the exact location of the island you need to go to for the challenge.

Once you are on the island, you can start the first puzzle by interacting with a floating red cross. Solving these puzzles will require you to find and disable a bunch of floating fire objects.

You will also need to take on 2 boss-like enemies after completing the 3 puzzles, so be prepared for that. A chest containing the Iridescent Inscription Fragment will spawn after you take down the 2 enemies.

Turning in the Iridescent Inscription Fragments

With all 4 fragments in your possession, all that’s left to do is to turn them in and claim your rewards for it.

To turn in the Iridescent Inscription Fragments, you will need to make your way to the area shown above. This area is just south of the Huitztli Hill location on your map.

When you get to this location, you will need to give the fragments to an NPC called Chuno. He will then reward you for this by giving you a chest filled with loot.
