Osaka Castle is one of the many iconic locations you can visit in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and also home to a group of Samurai Daisho.
The Samurai Daisho in this game are basically groups of elite guards you can find in key locations. Take them out and you’ll earn Mastery Points, which you can then use to unlock new skills for Naoe and Yasuke. So, hunt these key mooks down to get stronger. It’s as simple as that!
In this guide, we’ll tell you the locations for all of the Samurai Daisho in and around Osaka Castle.
All Samurai Daisho Locations | Osaka Castle Area
To start, you can find Osaka Castle in the northern part of Osaka, in the Izumi Settsu region. The map above shows its location. As for the Samurai Daisho, there are 3 of them for you to find within the castle grounds.
Our first Samurai Daisho here is the most mobile of the lot. This one patrols around the main keep in the middle of the Osaka Castle area. He should be easy to spot if you’re patient, however. Also, he usually stops near one of the hay piles you can dive into from the Osaka Castle Viewpoint, which is very convenient for assassinating him!
For the second Samurai Daisho, go to the southwestern part of Osaka Castle. He likes to patrol along the castle’s outer wall. Thankfully, there aren’t many other guards in his route, so he’s easy to take out.
Now, for the last one, go to the construction area on the southeastern corner of Osaka Castle. You’ll usually find him standing still between some of the scaffolding, as shown above. He doesn’t seem to patrol much, but there are other guards around him. Be careful not to be spotted if you wish to avoid combat.
Nonetheless, that’s all 3 Samurai Daisho locations within Osaka Castle in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Taking all of them down will earn you 1 Mastery Point for Naoe and Yasuke.
While you’re in the mood for “collectibles”, check out our guide on all of Makinoodera Temple’s Lost Pages. Collecting all 3 of those will earn you 1 Knowledge Point, allowing you to increase your Knowledge Rank and get new skills.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
