Assassin’s Creed Shadows has a lot of side content that you can complete for various rewards, and the way you earn bits of loot can range from combat-related stuff to pure exploration. In this guide, we will be going through how you can find all the Samurai Daisho within the Amagasaki Castle, which will unlock the chest at the area just like any of the other castles in the game.
All Amagasaki Castle Samurai Daisho Locations
Just like all of the other castles that you can find all around the game’s map, you will first need to kill all the Samurai Daisho in Amagasaki Castle in order to loot the valuable chest hidden in it.
These are tougher than the other enemies found in these locations, but they should be easy to assassinate if you prefer taking a sneaky approach to clearing castles or camps. If you need help finding them, use the map below.
All of the Samurai Daisho in this castle can be found in the areas highlighted by a red box. It should be noted, however, that they tend to walk around a bit every now and then, so you cannot exactly pinpoint one specific location.
Once you have managed to take down all five of them, you will find the chest that it unlocks at the blue marker in the map. Just climb to the top of the tower in that corner of the inner part of the castle. There, you will find a hatch that will lead you straight to the legendary chest.
Aside from the gear, you will also be rewarded with mastery points as a result of clearing this objective in the castle. Make sure to check out our guide on which mastery skills are the best for Naoe in the game to help you decide on what you can spend these on.
And that is pretty much all you need to know in order to find these guys. Remember to hold L2 and use your eagle vision as well to help with your search, as the game will mark their distinctive icons as you search the compound.

If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
