If you’ve played The Serpent Rogue, then chances are high that you’ve already come across Dobhar-chu. This creature can be found in the aptly called Dobhar-chu’s lair which entrance can be found east of the Ghoul equipment.
Like most creatures in the game, Dobhar-chu is actually tameable. The problem is that this creature hits for a whopping 12 damage which can be more than enough to take you down if you’re not careful. Luckily, we’ve prepared this guide just for you.
How to Tame Dobhar-chu in The Serpent Rogue
Before we start, let me remind you that Dobhar-chu is not a unique enemy. In fact, you can find a handful of them in their spawn area. If you’re unlucky (or lucky depending on your progress), you might even come across a few of them in a single spot.
First off, you’ll want to head to the Dobhar-chu’s Lair which is on the upper left portion of your map. Once you arrived and spotted a Dobhar-chu, you’ll want to throw Purifying potions at it to get rid of its corruption status.
Once the creature no longer turns red, you can then approach and feed it with either Homemade Pumpkin Pie or Pumpkin. Homemade Pumpkin Pie will be the better choice as it will fill 25 points on the creature’s hunger meter.
Since the Dobhar-chu has 250 points in its hunger meter, that meats you’ll need at least 10 Homemade Pumpkin Pies to tame it successfully, though, for the most part, you’ll only need a few. To feed, simply approach the creature until you see an option saying “Feed”. You will then see an interface to the left showing its stats as well as its health and hunger meter.
You also want to watch for the green bar. Once it shows, it means the creature will no longer eat. You can then approach it and an option saying “Dingycage” will appear which will then show you a handful of other options.
