Aside from Fishing poles, the Bobbers you attach to them can significantly raise your fishing power which calculates what items you can get while fishing.
With a fishing power of 50 and below, you won’t be as successful while fishing since a low fishing power translates to a chance of getting junk items in the water.
In this guide, we will show you how to raise your fishing level further with the newest sets of fishing Bobbers in Terraria 1.4.4.
How to Get Fishing Bobbers in Terraria 1.4.4

Complete angler quest to get fishing Bobbers
To unlock them, head over to the fishing companion and do his angler quests. This will give you a regular fishing bobber which gives you an additional 10 fishing power. Combining the fishing bobber with other items will give you a variety of bobbers in the game.
Combine your stars and bobber at the Tinkerer to get a Glowing fishing bobber
Once you get your fishing bobber from the angler quest, head over to the Tinkerers shop together with 5 stars to create a glowing fishing bobber.
Mix your glowing fishing bobber with any of the glowing moss to change their appearance and ability
There are different types of glowing moss scattered around the world. Combining them with your glowing fishing bobber will produce different types of fishing Bobbers for you to change. These Bobbers do not stack up so only one fishing bobber power upgrade will be in effect.
To use your bobber, select the bobber you want in your inventory and cast it with your fishing rod. Different coloured Bobbers have different types of fish and items that you can obtain in the water or fishing spot.
