From the recent update, they have also added a new item to still increase your movement speed. And that is through the Anklet of the Wind Seed.

Before you can obtain the new Anklet of the Wind Seed, you have to first create a new world. Enter the Single Player, and then choose your Player. After you have chosen a player, select a world and copy the seed.
After you copy the seed, click New. You will see a small table with Name and Seed slots. Go to the seed slot and paste the seed you copied earlier. Then, make sure that it is a Small world, and the evil world is Corruption. In terms of the difficulty, it can be any of the choices. Then, Create.
Join the world you have created. Head to the west and you will be looking for a tall tree with a passageway underneath it. Once you see the path, keep heading down until you reach the bottom.
When you drop down to its bottom, keep walking left and there should be another path downwards. Go down until you reach another flat surface.
Once you arrive there, there will be a small chest that you have to open. Opening it, you will obtain the Quick Anklet of the Wind.
What you can do after obtaining this item is craft the Lightning Boots. All you have to do is have Spectre Boots, an Aglet, and of course, the Anklet of the Wind. Proceed to the TInkerer’s Workshop, and there, you should be able to craft your Lightning Boots for a 10% movement bonus,
