Terraria: How to Get Aglet Seed 1.4.4 Update

Creating a new character in Terraria can be overwhelming at first. It’s the farming for equipment and accessories that take most of the time to set your character up to challenge the world.

Luckily, Terraria lets you keep items you’ve collected in one world and can be used in another world as long as you keep them in the inventory.

If you are a new player who is planning to start and get into the craze of Terraria, we have prepared a little present for you to get you started by increasing your movement speed early in the game as you explore the world of Terraria.

In this guide, we will be showing you how to get the aglet accessory with ease as you start out and explore your world in The latest Labor of Love Content Update.

How to Get Aglet Seed in Terraria 1.4.4 Update

The Aglet is one of three ingredients to create Lightning Boots/Hermes Boots which increases your movement speed significantly. By itself, it gives you a 5% movement speed boost which is very useful early in the game.

The Aglet can be found in Chests, wooden crates and pearl wood crates scattered on the surface of the world. You can also purchase it from the Skeleton Merchant when you discover him.

To save you some time searching for crates for a random chance of obtaining it, we will be showing you its location via a world seed which you will need to create to access it.

Create the Aglet World Seed

Go to your character screen and select create a new world. You can freely select any size or difficulty for the world as long as you create it using the seed shown above.

Once you enter the world, you will need to go to your right to find the Cave where the crate containing the aglet is located.

Head right until you find the Cave entrance

Be aware of these landmarks as you travel towards the crate containing the Aglet. You will first encounter a Cave that leads underground. Ignore this and move forward. The next landmark will be two huge trees. This will signify that you are close to your target.

The Cave you encounter will look like the image above. Look for the wooden crate here and open it.
