How to Max Your Freighter Inventory For Free in No Man’s Sky Outlaws

Upgrading your Freighter Inventory can get expensive. Did you know you can do it for free? For this, you will need to get Bulkheads from Derelict Freighters. These places can be quite dangerous as they are infested with enemies but the reward you get makes it absolutely worth it.

Finding Bulkheads in Derelict Freighters

Bulkheads can be found in Derelict Freighters. To find one, use the coordinates shown in the picture above and head to the space station. Get a link to the teleporter since you will want to teleport back here later.

Once you come out, start pulsing in any direction until a Derelict Freighter appears. Head inside and loot all cargos. Collect Security Credentials as you need this for the Captain’s Log. You will need to find three main terminals namely, Records Terminal, Secure Mainframe, and Engineering Control. The latter will give you a choice of Nanites, Bulkhead, or a Salvaged Fleet Unit.
