As with any survival game, you need to claim a base in Smalland in order to survive the wilds (pun intended). However, the caveat with ground bases is that you will be attacked by creatures from time to time.

Then there’s the fact that you can’t actually transfer them when changing worlds.

This is where the transferable base comes in. As the name implies, this type of base can be transferred, so if you decide to join other sessions, you can bring the base with you.

Let’s find out how you can do this.

To get yourself a transferable tree base, you first need to claim a tree base. As long as you have a tree base, you can just teleport to it regardless of where you are on the map.

You can even bring it with you if you join another session with friends or other players.

That said, you can claim any tree that has mushrooms growing on it. Once you find a tree you want to claim, the gnome at the bottom will tell you to go to the top.

You can do this by parkouring through the mushroom caps sprouting on the trunk of the tree.

It can be a little tedious at times, considering some mushroom caps can be tricky to jump onto. As soon as you reach the top platform, simply interact with the Gnome Effigy to claim it. You’ll then make it your private encampment.

You will also get an assistant who will help you go up and down the tree via a lift. From there, you can then decide what to build inside your newly acquired base.

As mentioned, this is a transferable base. This means that you can bring it with you if ever you decide to join someone else’s world.

The best part is that this base is completely safe. This means that there will be no creatures that will attack you from time to time. You’re limited to just a single tree base, however.
