Honkai Star Rail: How to Get Trailblazer Fire Build

The Trailblazer is the main character that you start the game with. You can choose either the male or female version, and you initially start with a character that uses physical-based attacks.

However, later on in the game, you will be able to unlock the Trailblazer’s fire-type version. Unlike the physical version, the Trailblazer’s fire version is just much better.

But in order to gain access to the character’s full potential, you should first unlock it. This guide will show you how.

How to Get Trailblazer Fire Build in Honkai: Star Rail

In order to get the fire version of the Trailblazer, you first need to progress through the main storyline all the way until you reach level 24.

At this point, you will already be in the Corridor of Fading Echoes in Jarilo-VI. A mission called Roads to the Past Have Long Been Closed will task you with going up against Cocolia.

Keep on following this quest until you reach Everwinter Hill. You will then have to complete the End of the Eternal Freeze challenge. Move forward until you reach Cocolia and face her in a fight.

You will eventually face her in a 1v1 battle with your Trailblazer character. A brief cutscene will then play showing you being impaled in the chest and getting pushed off a cliff.

Shortly after, you wake up in a strange space.

This is a mission called The Return. Basically, all you have to do is escape from this strange space so you can go back to reality. Simply follow the light, all while watching some cutscenes along the way.

Eventually, you will come across a fiery sword, and after approaching it, another cutscene will play.

After the cutscene, you will go back to reality with the fiery sword now in your hand. You basically just unlocked the fire version of the Trailblazer at this point.

You then play as the fire version to finish off Cocolia.

How to Switch to the Fire Version of Trailblazer

After defeating Cocolia, you will still choose the physical version, which falls under the Destruction Path, as the default.

To switch to the Preservation Path, simply follow the in-game instructions. Click on your character icon at the upper right section of the screen to open your character page.

Once there, click on the Switch button at the lower right corner to enter the Paths page. Simply click on Preservation to switch to the fire version then click Confirm when asked.

Do take note that you can freely switch between paths following the same steps we’ve mentioned.
