Grounded: How to Find the Sticky Key for the New Secret Chest

Grounded is a game full of adventures. And when talking about adventures and explorations, one of the first things that come to mind is treasure chests. That is why, we are going to give you not just clues, but the exact locations of where you can find the secret chest and how to open it.

For you to open it and reveal the items you can get from it, you must first find the key to it. Because of that, we made this guide for you.

How to Find the Sticky Key for the New Secret Chest in Grounded

Before you go off and search for the location of the key, let us first identify the location of the secret chest.

If you look at the map of the backyard you will notice a round figure. You are right, it is a tire. And notice the X mark at the center of it. That is the indication of the secret chest’s location.

Once you go to this location, you will see a large tire. Looking at it from the outside, you will not think that there is a secret chest in it, hence the reason it is called a secret chest. So, to see the actual secret chest, you have to jump down the holes of the tire’s bolt compartments. In doing so, you will see half of your character’s body submerged in water.

Under that water, you will see the secret chest.

Sticky Key Location

Next up to the location of the secret chest will be the location of the sticky key.

To start off this journey, go to the map location of the lawnmower. It can be found in the northeastern part of where the secret chest is.

Once you’re here, you have to find your way to the top. Do this by jumping over some grasses behind the wheel of the lawnmower. Then, jump on the wheel and make your way up to the top of the lawnmower itself.

Go to the back portion of the lawnmower and you will see a maple leaf. Use it to cross over the left side handle of the lawnmower. The moment you see the top of the ladder, jump over it and head to another side of the ladder.

This time, you will have to make use of the ready materials in your backpack. You have to craft something that will serve as a ramp because you will have to cross over to the left side of the wall with broken bricks.

After you finally go up, you have to go and get your level 2 shovel. Use that to dig up the chunk of chewed gum. Here, you will be able to get the sticky key.

With that key, you can now go back to the large tire and open the secret chest. Opening it will give you 2 milk molars, and a Water Logged Recipe which also unlocks the Bomb Arrows.
