Donkey Kong Bananza is the new surprise entry to this old and iconic game franchise, and with people quickly rushing through to the end and unlocking the post story stuff, there is no shortage of players struggling with the later challenges. In this guide, we will try to walk you through the Zebra Elder’s Rehearsal Hall course!

Zebra Elder’s Rehearsal Hall Guide (All Collectibles) in Donkey Kong Bananza

At the start of this course, you need to repeatedly punch the blue balloon to open the door at the end. From there, the game straight up tells you that you will require some “high speed horsepower” to clear the opening.

Look, this is already past the end of the game, and even the game tells you what you need to do, so we should not really have to elaborate too much on how you are supposed to do any of this.

Charge dash to get past the door before it closes back down to reach the next course, which is also pretty straightforward. Just follow the rainbow floor and break through the holes in the wall to keep going forward.

Stick to the right once you reach the fork in the path, because that is where the blue balloon will show up. Pop it and keep proceeding forward. If you end the course with enough time left, you will be rewarded with two banana gems rather than just a single one.

After the Amuse-Boosts part of the rehearsal course, turn to the right after claiming your two (or one, depending on your time) banana gems to find another small challenge. Smash the grey triangle to spawn a shiny vertical line up ahead. Climb it within the short time limit to get yet another banana gem.

In the next zone, your goal will be to reach the end by punching objects forward so that they form a gold path that you can walk or climb on. Just aim your punches properly to ensure that the path they form will be useful to you.

Keep proceeding until the end, where you can form a gold walkway leading to the blue balloon near the end point. If you cross the finish line fast enough with around 20 or so seconds left, you will be awarded with two banana gems, otherwise you will only get one.

If you want to try for a faster time, just speak with the nearby NPC and ask for a do over. If you wish to just proceed to the next part of the rehearsal hall, that is completely okay as well!

Just like in the previous zone, there will be a mini challenge that you can take on at the right side of where you claim the banana gems. Smash the triangle to start it. The goal is simple here, as you just need to let the enemies ahead shoot you, as their attack will form a path in the air.

Allow them to attack you, but dodge at the last second. Keep doing this until you have a path to the other side of the long gap, where you can smash a shining rectangle to spawn yet another banana gem at the starting point.

The next zone is a simple 2D platforming section. Simply sprint through the water and avoid the purple electric walls along the way. Jump or punch your way down to avoid the dangerous walls, and hit the blue balloon along the way. Eventually, you will reach the finish line for more banana gems.

Just like the previous courses thus far, there will be a mini challenge at the right side of where you claim your rewards. There, you will just need to keep jumping through a tower of water and smash the block at the top. This will spawn another banana gem at the starting point.

At the Switcheroo Entrée, which is the next course, all you need to do is run or jump past all of the obstacles along the way. However, the path that you take on the red parts of the course will also be the path formed at the blue parts, which are empty by default.

Because of this, you want to try and maintain a straight path as much as possible, and jump only when necessary, as this will create gaps in the path ahead. At the last stretch, there is a blue balloon at the middle.

If you cannot manage to get the balloon safely, just sacrifice yourself to claim it and get to the finish line with your remaining time. If grabbing the balloon causes you to lose the extra banana gem time, just restart the race and try to get it done with 20 seconds or more remaining.

Just like all of the courses that came before this, there will be yet another mini challenge at the reward area. The concept is just the same as the Switcheroo Entrée course. Create a blue path on the left by running through the red part.

It should be noted that in this mini challenge, you have a relatively short time limit. Instead of making a full path to the block, you can stop at the middle and run to the blue side of the arena. There, you can simply jump to the block that you have to smash.

For the final part of the course, it just requires a bit of trial and error, as it tests your familiarity with the different types of terrain and blocks. Just go through it as you normally would to see what types of obstacles you will have to face.

Break through the flimsy materials, climb over some of them, and use some of the terrain to forge a path over the others.

For example, you can break through mud and sand, but then you will run into a wall of boom rock. Grab the boom rock and throw it at the next wall to break through it. If you see an ice wall, grab it and then use that material to form a path at the lava floor ahead.

Near the final stretch, after you use some of the ground for the zipline, there will be two choices to get past the deadly walls ahead. Simply duck into the water on your right to get past them. Keep going forward until you reach the last part, which is a long rainbow road.

From here, all you need to do is keep going forward on the rainbow road while smashing through the walls ahead. At the very last point, grab a bit of the floor and destroy the wall ahead of you, revealing the last finish line.

If you manage to complete it with a lot of time left, you will be awarded with two banana gems at the end, and this will mark the end of the entire rehearsal hall course. Congratulations, you are now done with this challenge. If you missed any bonus time rewards, do not forget to ask for a do over to try again!
