Donkey Kong Bananza is the new entry of the iconic franchise, and it was first revealed when more details about the Switch 2 were finally shown to the public. Plenty of players have already finished t game now, and some of you might be looking for an easy way to make a bit of gold. With this method, you can make a decent amount of dough with just a small amount of effort!

How to Farm Gold in Donkey Kong Bananza

Later on in the game, once you are at the point where you just need to farm up some gold for whatever reason, you can return to the Racing Layer for the method that we are going to be sharing with you.

Here, get on top of the 1st place podium spot. Once you are there, use the barrel to enter the giant trophy in the distance. You will notice that this place has a whole lot of gold coins, like an entire sea of the dang stuff all over the interior.

Up here, you will need to use your Elephant Bananza form. See where we are going with this? Using your elephant form, start sucking in all of the terrain around you, which mostly just consists of ungodly thick layers of gold coins.

Hold the ZR button and start pointing your trunk at all of the gold coins nearby. With the Stronger Lungs skill upgrade, you should be able to do this for longer periods of time, allowing you to finish much faster. Try to get the Better Inhaling skill as well, as this will increase your suck’s range and distance, letting you clear out the trophy quickly.

the trophy of gold

Suck all of the gold both on the surface of the trophy and inside it. The layer of coins all over the trophy is thick as heck, so you have a lot of ground to cover. Once you are satisfied with how much you have, simply reset the layer to refresh all of the terrain and then repeat the process again.

Each run should be able to net you a few thousand coins if you are thorough with it. Just keep sucking up all of the gold until you can physically no longer get any more due to range restrictions or lack of terrain to step on. Go from the outer edges all the way inwards, so you can maximize how much you get per run.

That is really all there is to it! You just keep repeating this entire farm until you are happy with the amount that you have acquired. It can be a bit repetitive, but it is a complete “brain off” activity that you can just keep doing.
