Overflowing Palette is a new type of puzzle in Wuthering Waves 2.0 and you can find it all over the new Rinascita region, including in Whisperwind Haven.
In essence, these puzzles are simple color-matching puzzles. Turn all of the blocks in the picture to the color the game asks and you solve it. The trick is that you have a very limited number of moves, so they’re very easy to mess up!
Fret not, though. Thanks to our guide, you’ll make no mistakes when solving every Overflowing Palette in the Whisperwind Haven area in Wuthering Waves.

Polyphemos Windmills
The first Overflowing Palette puzzle we’ll do in Whisperwind Haven is the one north of Polyphemos Windmills, which is a solid introduction to this puzzle type in Wuthering Waves.
If you have yet to do any of these puzzles, they look like the one shown above. A large warped mirror-like painting in an area devoid of color. Approach the painting itself and interact with it to initiate the puzzle.
The puzzle itself requires you to turn all of the colors in the painting into the same one. You can see the clue in the bottom-left corner. Your remaining moves for the puzzle are in the top-left corner. The colors you can use are on the right side of the puzzle.
Basically, you first need to select a color from the right side. Then click on any color block in the painting itself to replace it with the color you picked. This will also recolor all of the adjacent blocks of the same color. It’s key to do this in the right order so that you can solve the puzzle within the very limited number of moves you get!
Now, with that basic breakdown let’s go over how to solve this particular puzzle step-by-step. First of all, turn all of the green blocks into blue ones. Follow the arrows in the screenshot above for extra help. We know this one can be a pain otherwise if you’re colorblind.
Afterward, turn all of the green blocks into red blocks.
Lastly, turn all of the red blocks into yellow blocks. This will complete the puzzle, restoring color to the area around the warped painting.
Northern Whispering Haven Lake
You can find this Overflowing Palette puzzle at the small lake on the northern part of Whispering Haven. It’s directly southwest of Polyphemos Windmills. This one requires you to turn all of the blocks blue in 3 moves.
For your first move, turn all of the green blocks into red blocks.
Then, turn the red blocks yellow.
Lastly, use blue on the yellow blocks to turn the entire painting blue and solve the puzzle.
Egla Town Outskirts
For the next Overflowing Palette puzzle, go directly northwest from Egla Town until you reach the large lake. This time you need to turn all of the colored blocks red within 4 moves.
Start by turning the central cluster of yellow blocks green.
Then, turn the remaining cluster of yellow blocks blue.
For your third move, paint the green blocks red.
Lastly, solve the puzzle by painting the blue blocks red.
Whispering Haven Waterfall
The last Whispering Haven Overflowing Palette puzzle we’ll go over in this guide is trickier to reach than the ones before in Wuthering Waves. To start, go to the spot marked above, north of Egla Town.
Once there, look for a massive waterfall and go through it. You can either walk through it on the bottom or glide right through.
The Overflowing Palette puzzle is in the center of the area behind the waterfall. It requires you to turn all blocks green within 3 moves.
Start by turning the red blocks on the left side yellow.
Then turn all of the yellow blocks blue.
Finish up by turning all of the blue blocks greens.
If you’ve followed our guide in order, that was the last Overflowing Palette in the Whispering Haven area in Wuthering Waves. That’s not the only thing you can do for exploration in this area, though! Make sure to find and loot every Treasure Spot, as well.
