The Dragonflight expansion added a bunch of new dungeons for players to explore in World of Warcraft.
In this guide, we’ll tell you where you can find these dungeons and give you a quick overview of each of them so you’ll know what to look for.
New Dungeons in WoW Dragonflight
There are a total of 8 new dungeons in the Dragonflight expansion. Four of them are available while leveling while the other four are only available once you reach the max level of 70.
We’ll first go over the leveling dungeons before covering the max-level dungeons. Let’s dive into it!
Leveling Dungeons
The dungeons that you can enter without reaching max level are the Ruby Life Pools, Brackenhide Hollow, The Nokhud Offensive, and Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr.
The Ruby Life Pools in the Waking Shores feature 3 bosses. It has a singular checkpoint after beating the first boss, Melidrussa Chillworn.
To fight the second boss, you will need to go around in a circular room while destroying the Blazebound Destroyers. This lets you fight against the second and third bosses of this dungeon.
Brackenhide Hollow is within the Azure Span and has 3 different bosses. The first boss is only available after completing the Tuskarr Rescue event.
To complete this event, you must free 5 different Tuskarrs within the Lost Kanniak area on the western section of the dungeon.
Next is the Nokhud Offensive which is within the Ohna’ahran Plains in the Dragon Isles. It features 4 different bosses but has a fairly linear layout.
Every boss in this dungeon will require you to complete a pre-requisite, such as killing some enemies or destroying structures. For example, the first boss requires you to kill 3 Lancemasters.
The last one is Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr in the Badlands which features 5 different boss fights. It’s the hardest of the leveling dungeons and is only ideal when you’re close to level 70.
The fifth and final boss is Chrono-Lord Deios who is on the second floor. You will need to defeat all the previous 4 bosses on the first floor to be able to face him!
Max Level Dungeons
These dungeons are only available to players who reached level 70. The dungeons are Neltharus, The Azure Vault, Halls of Infusion, and Algeth’ar Academy.
Neltharus is in the western section of the Waking Shores featuring 3 different bosses. Make sure you’re well-prepared with resistance against fire, as most enemies and bosses have fire-based attacks.
The Azure Vault, as you might expect, is found within the Azure Span. It’s around the southernmost point on the map close to the mountains.
This dungeon features 4 different floors, each one featuring a boss. We recommend avoiding the patrols that are marked with blue circles.
They are fairly dangerous, so it’s best to run past them.
Halls of Infusion are found around the center of Thaldraszus. It features 4 bosses which make heavy use of Frost and Nature damage types.
You can get unique bonuses in this dungeon by allocating 25 skill points in Engineering or Herbalism. These are extremely helpful as you make your way through this treacherous dungeon.
The last one is Algeth’ar Academy in the northern section of Thaldraszus. It features 4 different bosses, and you can only fight the last one after beating the first 3 bosses.
As soon as you start the dungeon, you can get one buff from the recruiters by the entrance. Pick whichever suits you best. Also, the main area of this dungeon houses the only checkpoint.
Venezuelan gamer cursed by being interested by most games, resulting in a ridiculous backlog he’ll never be able to conquer. Been gaming for over two decades now! Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
