Warriors are one of the many classes in Wartales. These strong units specialize in melee combat by getting in close and dealing massive damage to take out enemies quickly.
However, you need to be careful with which skills you choose when building them! In this guide, we’ll tell you which skills to pick to make your Warrior truly shine in combat.
How to Build the Best Warrior in Wartales
Before we dive into the actual skills you want and whatnot, you should first know what weapon oils are.
There’s a large variety of oil types in the game that can be applied to your weapons, each one providing different buffs.
You’ll want to use Unstable Oil as your primary oil on Warriors. It gives them a chance to do an extra attack against adjacent enemies.
Since this class excels at melee combat, they will have lots of adjacent enemies during skirmishes. As such, they will make excellent use of those extra attacks!
When it comes to raw stats, you want to give bonus points to Willpower and Critical Hit. These stats will increase your Warrior’s raw damage, and Critical Hits can also trigger buffs like Fury.
Next up, let’s look at this class’ skillset.
Best Warrior Skills
You will get your first skill at Level 2, which is also your Warrior’s specialization.
The Berserker specialization is simply the best of the three, as it gives you the Rampage skill. This skill deals damage 3 times, only costs 1 Valor Point, and gives you Fury on Critical Hit.
Fury increases the damage of your next attack by a very substantial amount, allowing you to steamroll enemies if you get lucky!
At Level 3, pick up Valorous Duel. The Warrior will generate 1 Valor Point anytime they engage an enemy in combat. You can pick your next skill at Level 5.
You have two solid options to pick from at this point which are:
Madness to boost your damage by 50% against enemies with 30% or less HP, making it easy to finish off weakened enemies.
Recklessness to double the damage of the first skill in each fight. You can use it to finish off strong enemies as soon as combat starts!
Both options are fantastic, so which one you pick is up to your personal preference. Madness is more consistent, but Recklessness can win you fights by taking out or weakening bosses at the start.
Your next skill is at Level 8. We recommend you pick Battle Cry to boost the damage of every ally within range by 30%. The range is quite massive, so it’s a great support skill.
Skill Upgrade Priority
With your skills all picked out, you now have to think about which skills to upgrade down the line.
Of course, Rampage should be your first one to upgrade. You should be using it as your main damage dealer, so making it even better is a no-brainer. Madness and Recklessness would be the next skills to upgrade, no matter which one you picked.
Upgrading Madness will give you the damage buff earlier while Recklesnsness’ upgrade will drastically buff the first skill’s damage.
Focus on these skills and your Warrior will be an unstoppable force of destruction!
