Throne & Liberty has been out for some time now, and some parts of the map that were previously inaccessible are starting to open up in certain servers. Among the latest bits of content to become accessible is the sixth floor of Syleus’s Abyss, and that means people can take on contracts that require you to go there. Here is a quick guide to help you with such contracts!

How to Farm 6F Syleus’s Abyss Contracts | Magic Tome, Soul Brazier, & Head Shaman

First up, if you are not sure where to get contracts that will take you to Syleus’s Abyss (6F), just head over to any town that has a Sundries Merchant in it. They sell an item called the Allied Resistance Forces Contract Scroll II Laslan & Stonegard.

Upon opening one of these, you will get a bunch of different contract scrolls, including one for Syleus’s Abyss. For the sake of convenience, if you are going to be farming these, you will want to reroll them until you get objectives that involve killing Demonhoof mobs.

It should be noted that these items have a weekly buy limit of six, so you cannot exactly stack them up at your leisure. Check in with any of the Sundries Merchants whenever you can if you forgot when your stock refreshes.

Heading to Syleus’s Abyss 6F – Fighting Mobs

Once you make it to Syleus’s Abyss, just descend all the way down to the final floor. From the fifth, it should be pretty straightforward as there is only one path to get there at that point. Don’t forget to activate the waypoint when you first step foot in the final floor!

Before you dive right down, you should know that it is highly recommended to have a party with you while tackling the monsters of this floor. Enemies here hit like a truck, and they have over 50k health each.

If you aren’t a tank or have little to no ability to sustain yourself, soloing will be very inefficient, and you likely won’t be able to safely kill more than one enemy at a time. I personally have a pretty okay dagger and crossbow loadout and around 2400-ish gear score, and I can barely kill two things at once here.

The second you step foot into this floor, you should be able to see an excessively long staircase with a lot of marked enemies below if you have contracts active. If you want to get your contracts done fast, feel free to whack everything in your way!

NOTE: If your Syleus’s Abyss contracts are not favorited, press the N button and click on the yellow icon. From here, select Contract Scroll and just click on the star beside each entry there.

Finding the Demonhoof Head Shaman & Magic Tomes

Your contracts will occasionally have the objective to defeat the Demonhoof Head Shaman. This is a boss mob that can spawn in certain rooms, and it will take a group of players to defeat it, so make sure to party up first or join randoms nearby if there are any.

Refer to the map image below for an example of where you can find the shaman boss. In the same room as its potential spawn location, you will also find the Sealed Magic Tomes near the edges. You might have to fight your way there too.

All you need to do is approach one of these Sealed Magic Tomes and interact with it. After a few seconds, that objective should be marked off your list! Again, the map below will show you more.

NOTE: There are circular platforms scattered around this floor of Syleus’s Abyss, and just like in the previous zone, they can be rotated, which might make it harder to access certain rooms if they aren’t properly set up.

Finding Soul Braziers – Leap of Faith

My recommendation is to leave the Soul Brazier for last, as the process to examine them can be a bit silly. If you have a stack of contracts that covers most or all of the objectives described in this guide, then this is best done as you leave the shaman’s room.

Before you cross the bridge, look down and glide towards the floor below. If you fall low enough, you should see a “Soul Brazier” marker below you. Just drop down safely and then interact with the brazier, which has a distinct blue flame, to complete the objective.

Be careful down here, as there will be a bunch of hostile enemies here that have both melee and ranged attacks, so you might get harassed from a distance!

There are grapple points scattered down there that will help you get up if you drop too low or simply want to get out, but if you leave this for last, you can also just teleport to safety.

The only other tip that you might need here, if you aren’t aware for some reason, is that you should pay attention to the server time. If it is about to hit night time, you might want to hold off on doing the contracts for now.

Every now and then, for a period of 30 minutes, open world dungeons become PVP zones. In the case of Syleus’s Abyss, however, it closes off until the next day phase starts.

That is pretty much everything you need to know in order to start farming this floor of Syleus’s Abyss, which is the most challenging part of this open world dungeon.
