The release of the Werewolves game pack gives players a whole new world of customization for their Sims. From what you can tell from the name itself, this game pack allows you to transform your Sims into big bad wolves during a full moon.

Of course, this comes with a handful of amazing abilities that will greatly help your Sims throughout their lycanthropic journey. Let’s have a look at what these abilities are and rank them according to their usefulness.

Best Werewolf Abilities Explained and Rated in The Sims 4

Before you can even use werewolf abilities, you need to obtain them first. You can do so by earning werewolf ability points given whenever you gain werewolf XP. To earn werewolf XP, you need to perform werewolf-specific actions such as howling and taking part in a rampage.

You can take a look at your Sims’ current ability points at the bottom of their needs panel. There’s a total of 31 werewolf abilities you can unlock in the game. As such, we’ll only be looking at the best werewolf abilities that you’d want to unlock as early as possible. They’re as follows:

Lunar Epiphany

The Lunar Epiphany is a dormant ability that really comes in handy if you want to cure being a werewolf for good. Apart from that, it also lets you learn more about this new occult form, allowing you to gain more knowledge about werewolves.

It’s actually pretty easy to unlock as well. All you need to do is read several werewolf books which you can find in bookcases throughout the world.

Werewolf Diplomacy

Another useful dormant ability is the Werewolf Diplomacy. This basically lets you win the trust of any non-werewolf Sim. This will also unlock further interactions with your target Sim which will then give that target Sim the Werewolf Ally trait.

With this trait, it will be a lot easier for your Sim to co-exist with the target Sim. Apart from that, it can even make building a relationship a whole lot easier. In other words, if you want to date a non-werewolf Sim, you’d best unlock this ability.

Scavenger

The Scavenger ability allows you to dig up lost treasures from the ground. This is a pretty handy ability since it lets you make easy money whenever you manage to find treasures from the ground.

Alpha Wolf

The last ability I’m going to tackle is the Alpha Wolf. This is a pretty useful ability if you love fighting most of the time or if you simply want to take control of a werewolf pack. With this ability, you’ll be able to win most fights against other werewolves.

Not only that, but if you choose to join a pack, you’ll be able to rank up pretty quickly. Since packs have various activities that will help you progress, this means that having this ability will allow you to progress a lot faster than you normally would.
